An Ohio bill that would ban abortion as soon as the fetus’ heartbeat can be detected passed the legislature on Tuesday night and is waiting on the governor’s desk. Fetal heartbeats are detectable around six weeks, which is well before many women even realize they’re pregnant. That means the bill would effectively ban abortion in the state of Ohio. The law’s backers say the election of Donald Trump—and the promise that he’ll appoint Supreme Court justices friendly to their cause—have empowered them to move forward on the extreme measure.

An oppressive measure, which should be an insult to women.

I'm sure tsuke will agree how much conservatives are alienating the average voter w/ this extremism.

What better way to test the waters....than to have a law brought before a NEW CONSERVATIVE SCOTUS? If SCOTUS can ignore 200 years of established legal precedence in 1973...what's to stop a current SCOTUS from ignoring the precedence that ignored the precedence? In other words...anything that can be opined into law can just as easily be opined away. Murder is murder. :)

If legal feet are dragged....it could take...3...4....years for this new law to make its way to SCOTUS. How many old liberal goats might die between now and then. Not be murdered in their sleep like the last one...but die from natural causes? Then can anyone spell......

NUCLEAR OPTION? A simple 50 + 1 conformation process thanks to Harry Reid.

I say...."If you are going to be a bear...might as well be a GRIZZLY BEAR...." Live by the sword...die by the sword.

Something new to consider this time around....the SCIENCE OF "DNA". Anyone, please explain just how a fetus has a distinct and separate DNA signature than either parent? Its simple, its a distinct and separate form of HUMAN life....as defined by the DNA. If DNA can send a human to prison or sentence he/she to death, or define either parent for legal purposes...that same science of established legal precedent can save human lives.

im in favor of abortion up to the first birthday. We have to take that thing out before it becomes a child support check.
 
elections have consequences. at some point you idiot liberals and moron conservatives will see the futility of swinging the scales back and forth and get back to living via the constitution.

I bet I think that science proves that human life begins at conception and continues to gestate unless it is aborted/killed to stop that human from growing to adulthood. As I said, no moral example of motherhood would kill their own child, the moral mother would die before she allowed harm to come to her child. That's what I believe...why? Because its true beyond doubt. Evil is as Evil does.
