Media Alert: CBS-TV 60 Minutes features Speaker Ryan interview: excellent!

When Speaker Pelosi lost her speakership, the Republican party was in such disarray they couldn't get it together enough to find a Republican that:

a) Was acceptable to a sufficient to win the vote to take the post, &

b) was willing to fill the post.

BUT !!

There was ONE man, Mitt Romney's former VP running mate, that had more than enough approval. The position was his in a walk, if he'd accept it.

Ryan didn't want it.

BUT !!

There was quite a bit of political arm-twisting. The pot was sweetened considerably, and Ryan was assured that he would be given the leeway he required to hold the position.

Ryan eventually accepted, and has been very impressive in the post ever since.

I highly recommend today's CBS broadcast interview of Speaker Ryan, an excellent man doing a very difficult job about as well as it can be done.

Ryan is a true grifter, a real piece of shit whose entire life has been dependent on socialist safety nets and or crony capitalism yet he is the first to attack the safety nets of the most vulnerable.
Fuck him and you too.

"Ryan hates Trump... " Kreskin
I've never heard him say so.

What I did hear Ryan say was: "I'm not there yet" in supporting Trump; a position Speaker Ryan later updated.

Let's just take a reality check here.

a) Trump's Republican credentials couldn't be much weaker. Trump has in the past been quite supportive of the Clinton's. They're Democrats you know.

b) As Governor Palin observes, Trump's crony capitalism deal w/ Carrier / Indiana is damn near socialist. So what ever happened to Republican conservatism?

c) Ryan's held Republican office infinitely longer than Trump. Ryan's a tenured pro. Technically Trump is an amateur; he hasn't earned a penny as president yet.

They'll have to work together if they'll advance the Republican agenda. Do you think they will? Do you think they can?

Excellent!
Be sure to miss the entire CBS broadcast. Your mind is obviously already decided. Don't dare risk confusing it with facts.

Ryan is a true grifter, a real piece of shit whose entire life has been dependent on socialist safety nets and or crony capitalism yet he is the first to attack the safety nets of the most vulnerable.
Fuck him and you too.

Furthermore Ryan becomes incredibly dangerous after 20 January 2016.
You fools have no idea what you wrought.

Simple minded sot. As of Jan.20 Ryan will write the laws and Trump will sign them without reading them.
You fool to pacify condone allow enable assist or applaud any of this.
This combination will be worse than 01-09.
Americans and the world will suffer greatly and no the GOP hasn't been fiscally conservative since at least 1975.

You may have inferred what I did not imply.

a) I haven't seen the broadcast yet. Know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not, admit it or not; my time machine is in the shop. I have not been to this evening yet.
I'm willing to wait until AFTER I've seen the broadcast to pass judgement on it.

b) It wouldn't occur to me to endorse content I've never seen.
Instead I observe:
- the slot was vacant

- not a single Republican in the house that was acceptable wanted it

- Ryan was THE ONLY Republican that met with REPUBLICAN approval.

Therefore to condemn / insult / dismiss Speaker Ryan is to condemn / insult / dismiss the Representatives of the People from coast to coast, of the Republican party.

Would you be more comfortable if I'd join in that condemnation?

Either way, thanks for expressing your concerns sunny.

I get it.

I stand in condemming the entire party coast to coast and welcome you to or not as you see fit.
Regardless you are spewing propaganda pablum to the masses.

"you are spewing propaganda pablum to the masses."
: )
"The masses"? You mean all 3 of you? *

You're welcome to quote me, and then explain why it is "propaganda pablum".

But if you will notice, the title of this thread is:
Thread: Media Alert: CBS-TV 60 Minutes features Speaker Ryan interview: excellent!
It's a "media alert", not an unreserved ideological endorsement.

So tell us R #12:
Do you have a very severe drug abuse problem? Or are you this out of touch on your own, without chemical augmentation?

* Please forgive me on this. But I'm compulsively literal-minded.
3 out of 320,000,000 (a U.S. population estimate)
So by

R refers to ~0.0000009% of the population as "the masses". Kind of cute, don't you think?
Here's a tip cyber-buddy. The nail that keeps popping its head up gets hammered down. I'll gladly stop smashing you down if you stop first. It's this simple. "Don't start not spit, won't be no spit."

I've seen Ryan a couple of times since the election. He's all goofy happy he can get legislation passed.
Other then that..he does the #neverTrump walk back like the rest of that establishment

All the more reason to catch the broadcast.
Know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not, admit it or not; THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a relatively powerful position in global influence. More influential even than a dog catcher somewhere in Taiwan! WOW !!

I'm not saying it's good.
I'm not saying it's bad.
I'm acknowledging that it's relevant.
