How will they change their messaging to be more in line with the wants and needs of the American people?


How long will they wander in the wilderness?


All questions they should be asking themselves.
 
I mean, there are probably some who think that next time, they just need to nominate someone who most don't see as a criminal.

But I think the nature of the win will be more of a wake-up call than usual. The most obvious thing is to look at Bernie's movement & a lot of the anti-establishment message that he shared w/ Trump, and build off of that. They won't try to appeal to other elements of the winning coalition, but I can see them breaking w/ the past and trying to forge a real progressive platform with (hopefully) a bit more pragmatism than Bernie espoused. Without doubt, the party will change.

They'll make big gains in the house in 2018 regardless; that's just how it goes. The Senate will take a long time now. Yesterday was the best shot they'll have for awhile.

If Trump gets 2 terms, I'll be shocked. But I was shocked when he won the primary, and when he won yesterday.

Here is the list:

(1) They will still stupidly believe that they are winning.

(2) They will claim that they actually won through the popular vote and demand we rescind the electoral college because they cannot compete fairly.

(3) They will continue attacking Trump and demanding that he continue the failed Obama legacy in the interest of healing the nation.

(4) They will attempt to prevent any legislation from passing in the senate through obstructionism; even though they hypocritically denounced it when Obama was Pres.

(5) They will whine that the Congress is no longer a do-nothing Congress and pine for the good old days when nothing got done and Obama could violate the constitution with a pen.

(6) They will say that Trump is not their President and DeshTard will find ways to pretend the election was stolen.

(7) They will continue to be tone deaf, petulant, unrepentant and think they are still the smartest kids on the block regardless of how stupid they looked this election.

Did I miss anything?

Last night was an equally powerful rebuke to the GOP establishment as well.

I'd like to know what they're going to do differently as well.

^Spot on....and let's hope they got the message and work WITH Trump to eradicate the last eight years of buffoonish policies and corrupt unconstitutional legislating from the Oval Office. Otherwise, the American sheeple will send them packing as well.

they will change their emblem to a hammer and sickle.......they will hire Watermark as spokesman.........and, they will burn down post offices and police stations......
 
I wouldn't be surprised if we won more votes in the house. The entire system is rigged against the majority of the American citizenry! This is not a democracy! We are not free! We are not in control of our destiny! We are held ransom to uneducated hicks in flyover states!

It appears that they intend to handle their loss, by protesting; which they are currently doing in New York and California!!

Does anyone else find this highly ironic and amusing?? :D

I love the protests. Democracy is alive & well.

There are a lot of people out there who feel like they have no representation in our gov't right now. They're going to be heard from, loudly & persistently. Gear up.
