if for example the city of Detroit has terribly long lines to vote, why doesn't the city of Detroit (which is responsible for managing the voting in Detroit) increase the number of polling precincts and voting machines?........do you think the Democrats who run Detroit are, by design, hindering black voters?.......

It would suppress the whole district, which makes it kind of a dicey proposition because you can't know how many republican votes get suppressed.

But still an interesting theory lol.

who controls the voting district would be determined by who gets the majority of voters.......logically if inefficient voting methods were suppressing the vote it would be suppressing the vote of the party that gets the majority of voters....thus any elected officials who messed with voter efficiency to suppress the vote would be suppressing a majority of votes for their own party......this would be illogical.......of course, Democrats are known for doing illogical things so I won't say it doesn't happen......
