You just kept moving the goalposts after hailing the merits of capitalism. I told you that you're referencing ancient history, as the profit motive takes precedent over everything in our special form of capitalism.

You just kept dancing after that. If we're talking about a world economy, then no one country should be the 'economic power'.

Most trade in dollars because we threaten them if they dare opt out.

Same thing that happened when we stopped manufacturing here. The elite class would do fine playing the Market, and the rest would suffer.

You've yet to state what you believe. Take a position yourself. I gave you example of China and how opening their markets brought hundreds of millions out of poverty.

Whether one country "should be" an economic superpower is a completely different subject. Talk about moving the goalposts. Show me what you support doing more than what capitalism has.
