I think that there are a couple of reasonable regulations that could be placed on gun purchases and ownership such as refusing a sale to a person on probation or with warrants found through a background check but for the most part any American adult should be able to purchase a gun and ammunition for that gun. I understand the reasoning of background checks and I'm not completely against it but there are obviously incidents where someone with a great background uses a gun to commit a crime and so it's not completely effective. I can also get behind the refusal to sell to a released convicted felon that used a gun to commit a crime.

Everyone does not have the right to vote dumbass, people under 18 do not have the right to vote, felons have lost that right and the 14% of illegals who according to the Washington Post are registered to vote do not have the right to vote, oh and dead people sure as hell do not have the right to vote. In fact any vote by one of those groups is an infringement on the rights of eligible voters and reasonable legislation to protect that right can Constitutionally be implemented. You can't even get a job or cash a paycheck without an ID so who is it exactly that this would effect?

They need to be protected, every vote from an ineligible voter is a vote stolen and a infringement on voting rights.
I believe that every adult American citizen has the right to vote and that in order to make sure it's an American citizen voting and to make sure that people are voting in the area and state that they actuallly live in so that they have proper representation for their city, county, and state that there should be a valid state issued ID shown at the time of voting proving residency.

No they don't, the majority of states require voter ID and the majority of those require photo ID.
