When Trump takes his own advisors to task for acknowledging that he had a bad debate, it's kind of funny to still see partisans claiming he won.

Trump had a terrible debate. He had about 10 good minutes, then the wheels came off.

I expect him to rebound. I don't particularly like his debate "style," but he did better in the primary debates overall. Still, this first one was pretty close to the low point of his campaign.

That would make a difference if Trump was debating someone other than Hillary. Since he wasn't, it doesn't.
