Still a Kap fan after this?

There are black folks in this country who don't agree with how he went about this and certainly don't agree with the pigs on the socks as a positive way to get the message across.

I didn't realize how down you are with the brothers and sisters.

No, he doesn't. Not if you open your ears & listen.

He said he has family & friends who are cops, and that the vast majority deserve to be commended for protecting their communities. The socks were about those few rogue cops who give all the rest a bad name, and make their jobs harder.

you see, that's the trouble with socks......they just aren't articulate enough to distinguish things like that.......you really need a t-shirt to have enough room for all the sub-text.........

That's what he said but that's like Trump posting something inappropriate about Hispanics and claiming he meant only criminal Hispanics.

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean to me.

I can agree a bit about the socks. It's a little clumsy. But so what if some blacks, or whites, or whoever "don't agree" with him sitting during the anthem? In a way, I think that was the point. He wanted to get people talking whether they agreed or disagreed, and he certainly did that.

Usually, when people express themselves, however they choose to do it - there will be people who disagree.

That's kind of a stretch.

Like I said, the socks were clumsy, and probably a dumb thing for him to do. But I don't think it compares to Trump actually saying something that sounds like it applies to all Hispanics, then trying to backtrack.

His socks have been called counter productive because they send a message of all cops, not just rouge ones.

I don't disagree, and he was quick to get a statement out on that when he saw that was the perception, to his credit.

I'm much more concerned w/ the negative reaction to the anthem protest.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

they were racists to allow slavery

they were right to try and form a Union that allows future generations to make it more perfect

Okies. How about I wear a pair of socks with pigs in turbans as way of making a statement about rogue Muslims?

I bet you change the rules on me lol.
