The French ban on face coverings is actually more extreme than the Dutch ban, it applies everywhere (besides with certain exceptions, like Motorcyclists wearing balaclavas in the winter), while the Dutch ban you cited only applies to educational and governmental institutions and not just any public place. It seems deeply ridiculous that you don't know this, Tom. It's also not just a ban on just burquas, in France if you walk around with a balaclava for no reason you are just as much in violation of it as if you were wearing a burqua. And it does not ban Islamic headscarves and other wear that do not cover the face.
