why no.....that is you in your mirror.......and as I recall it was the Democrats who sowed fear about Goldwater, not the other way around.....so its just history repeating itself......

Got cha. Didn't quite have enough time to misquote me, huh? No, it wasn't the Democrats that threatened the bomb, it was Goldwater. I was there. Goldwater wasn't the bomb, so sowing fear about him wasn't the end of the world. Goldwater was.

It's funny how NASA still insist on using ground temperatures to plot these meaningless graphs rather than use their own satellites. There has been a massive El Nino comparable to that of 1998, it remains to be seen how much of an effect the coming La Nina will have on global temperatures. There is more and more evidence that the Sun may well be entering its quietest period since the Maunder Minimum, although you can guarantee that even that will be blamed on Man.

I was there too.....and the fear mongering was done by Johnson's political ads, not by Goldwater.......
