I don't think ppl should be able to opt out & the reason is~what if they blow it all & are indigent, they will not be left on the street to die & you know it..... We will be giving them free food & meds till the day they die........
Then what's wrong with my statement about it being redistribution of wealth?
Many that would opt out would do other things that would produce a far greater return. I don't disagree that many would blow it. That's their CHOICE. I'm willing to hold people accountable for their choices. Should I take it that you are against choices or against being responsible for one's choices?
As far as MediCAID, it's another redistribution of wealth program for the lower income. Do away with it.
I view MediCARE the same as SS. It's a redistribution of wealth program. I have the option with my employer, when I retire, to continue buying coverage, although at a higher cost than now, as long as I choose to do so.
