Growth of America's Upper-Middle Class

Who is stupid enough to pay that price for such a shoe box? Tells me the people in SF aren't very smart. Where I live, that kind of money would get you a house big enough to put several of them inside.

Most expensive city in the country. Great returns on real estate here though. Lots and lots of millionaires here so some pretty smart folks

SF is definitely not worth the pricetag. Presently, Seattle is working overtime to turn itself into an expensive city. We are importing tech workers from all over the country, and using them to drive-up costs. Meanwhile, there is a massive effort to build vertically, in order to cram as many people into the city as possible. Locals are bemoaning the loss of familiarity and of sites they consider landmarks. That's all on top of inept city leadership who spend all day trying to find new ways to make life more difficult for everyone. But, we're not San Francisco yet...

Someone living in the most expensive city in the country tells me they're not to smart. We have lots of millionaires where I live, too. Since a dollar is 100 cents and someone where you are has to use more of them to buy what people where I live can buy for less or get more for it, tells me they're not too smart.

Where is home for you?

There is nothing non liberal in the NE.

There are pockets in the NE where intelligent people have figured out Liberal beliefs don't work. The rest of the Liberal idiots there haven't figured it out yet.

I'm not anywhere near Boston not would I go there. Too many Liberals have fucked up a location where honorable people that once understood the limited role of the federal government lived.
