Step 1: Triple the deficit with a just short of $1 Trillion "stimulus" creating "not so shovel ready" jobs and cement that into the budget.

Step 2: Blame it on Bush because you added that money to his last budget.

Step 3: Drop it in half.

What this does is convince leftists that you are fiscally responsible while you increase the average deficit by 1/3....


Step 4: Get your followers to tell everybody how amazing you are though you increased the deficit overall.

Step 5: If somebody figures it out, blame it on Bush.
 
Bush increased the deficit and national debt, Obama called it irresponsible and immoral and he was right... Obama increased the deficit and the debt, it is now "immoral" to point out that debt is bad, and that is immoral and irresponsible.
