Poll shows Trump is AHEAD of Hillary for the first time in presidential race

I don't think he was dirt poor, you seem to have bought into a fictionalized story. But, ok, if he was not a blueblood... we can go back to Kennedy since the Democrats have dabbled in non-blueblood action.
What about Carter? He comes from a prestigious wealthy farming family of old money. How can you say Michael Dukakis wasn't a blue blood?

Do you have any idea how hard it was for a grocer's daughter to get into Oxford in the late 1940s?
Probably about the same. Point being Maggie was not as well educated at HC is. Not that that ever stopped anyone in politics. Lincoln is the closest thing I can think of to being a genius in politics and he literally had no formal education.

Dole grew up poor in Kansas.
One genuine boot strapper. Went through college and grad school on the GI Bill. Learned his talent for juggling 100 balls at once and keeping track of it all and developing a near a photographic memory because in law school he had to memorize lectures cause he couldn't take notes due to his arm injury.

Geesh, you idiots are debating if the Republicans nominated a non-blueblood 20 years ago or not.

Dukakis's parents were immigrants. Hardly blue blood if your not from America.

Carter was a peanut farmer... ok I admit he was wealthy. Again you fuckers are going back to 1976.

I wish I had limited it to recent history. I didn't realize how strict things are here.

i think you underestimate how much nafta and tpp will be an issue to people.
No, I'm going with what I know about the numbers and polling at the State level and recent electoral trend and knowing that Hillary has a huge advantage over Trump this election cycle in the EC. Vegas isn't in the business of losing money. There's a good reason why Trump is a 3:1 underdog.

You're the one who brought up the whole blue blood thing and don't even know the definition of it.

In Presidential politics the Bush's, Kennedy's and Romney's and Gore's are blue bloods.

Right, when was the last time we had a Republican that was not a Bush?

Its been 52 years since a Kennedy was president.

Thank you stating the obvious. You claimed Democrats earned it and Republicans didn't. Yet that isn't how it has played out
