Poll shows Trump is AHEAD of Hillary for the first time in presidential race

Democrat Presidents made it on their own.

Since Reagan, Republicans inherited.

This is hardly surprising. Wait until Trump starts his campaign against her if you think this is something.

Then you'll see Hillary playing the biggest victim in earth's history.

But what about his hands, the little hands lobby... Trump should stop playing the little hands card, its disgusting the way he flops those hands around.

Yea well do you know what the odds are for an upper middle class person getting into Wellesley or Yale Law school are? If you're not a blue blooded legacy like a Bush or Kerry...it's pretty damned remote.

Do you have any idea how hard it was for a grocer's daughter to get into Oxford in the late 1940s?

The suggestion that Trump is an outsider is truly laughable, he has been lobbying and smoozing those arseholes on Capitol Hill for the past twenty years. He knows where all the bodies are buried!

No you're wrong. Trump has never held political office in any capacity and it's none of your business what Trump does with his own money, by the way. If he wants to give it to whoever, it's his money and it isn't tax money.

You're spinning a myth. Trump is the only candidate on either side that is indeed an outsider.

well the establishment's hair is on fire with the thought of him running.
I imagine if were ever to somehow win the entire RNC would hear "you're fired"

I don't think he was dirt poor, you seem to have bought into a fictionalized story. But, ok, if he was not a blueblood... we can go back to Kennedy since the Democrats have dabbled in non-blueblood action.

You talking about Lyndon Johnson? I've read all four Robert Caro books about him. Yes, his family was very poor.

It isn't the liberals who are going freak out anyway.

He supports single payer insurance

He supports LBGT rights

He supports isolationism

He supports job programs

He supports changing the tax system

His views are much more liberal than conservative, except for immigration and closing borders to certain segments of the population, his ideals line up more with liberals than conservatives.

I worry about about his mouth and his ego.

I worry that he won't listen to advisors or pick people with no experience, like Bush did.

I worry about the damage he could do to us internationally.

Cheer up Rana...maybe he'll nuke England. He has refused to take the possibility off the table. For whatever reason. Does he need one? Wouldn't it be funny if Tom ended up with a nuke on his head? That would really show us!

Republicans only nominate blue bloods, Democrats haven't nominated a blue blood since...Gore and haven't had a blue blood president since Johnson.
Uhhh Dole wasn't a blue blood. Neither was Reagan or Nixon or Eisenhower. In fact the only "blue blood" The GOP has nominated for President since 1900 have been Charles Evan Hughs, George H.W.Bush, George W. Bush and Mitt Romney. Contrary to popular belief Gerald Ford is of no relation to the Henry Ford family.

LBJ was not a blue blood either. Jimmy Carter was. So was Michael Dukakis.

I should have limited it to the last 20 years.

Maybe not as much of one as the others, but his great grandfather was president of Baylor University, so he was more blue blood than Clinton or Obama.
Sorry Jarod but that's a reeeeeal stretch. At best Johnson's grandfather was upper middle class. Hardly a blue blood.
