We know blacks are incarcerated in higher numbers than whites so the argument can't be that dem mayors are softer on black crime.
I'm talking about overall policies that are implemented in each city.

That still doesn't tell me that there's a direct link between having a dem mayor and having crime. As in "correlation does not imply causation."
The stupid fucking asshole believes what he says.
He needs to die.

just an inevitable coincidence........wait, you WERE referring to having a Dem mayor caught in a crime, right?........
I will die, but of old age, unlike the black thugs we are all talking about. Most are lucky if they live past 21.
Give me a break. I said no such thing.
Racist asshole...
Drugs aren't my thing so I'm not up on everything about them but with that I can tell you where in SF and Oakland you can buy them on the streets. Almost every seller is black or Hispanic. We know white people sell drugs but it's rare, in my experiences, to see them doing so on street corners. The white people I know who do drugs buy them in transactions behind close doors. That would be my explanation for why blacks get arrested more for drugs than whites even if they sell then equally.
Look at Desh who thinks everyone is racist but her. She SPIT on a black dude for dealing drugs in front of her home. No one wants drug dealers standing on their block. That transcends race.
We have a terrible heroin problem in some of our poshest suburbs that are overwhelmingly white and have a lot of Republican voters and officials, and this is how those community leaders handle it.
"Instead of sending people with minor drug cases to the Allegheny County Courthouse, district Judges Wyda and Larotonda work with the defendants, their families, the police and the local officials to get to the root of the drug problems—which are usually addiction or mental health issues. The judges often keep the cases open for 6-12 months and give the defendants a chance to go to rehabilitation facilities and get sober. If the defendants can prove they have stayed clean, the charges can be greatly reduced.
"I think it's the best and only way to go. We're the only ones that can put someone in jail and that gives us leverage," district Judge Wyda said."
This is a far cry from how offenders in the poorer and black communities are treated.
Re: Desh, was it racist to squirt the white guy with a hose? This is the only place I ever saw a racist connotation put on spit.
Isn't the whole point of this thread "Don't you ever say black on black crime again?"
From a political perspective why are Republicans having better drug policies than Democratic communities?
How is it ok for a white woman to spit on a black man? Especially a white woman who considers everyone else racist? If it is racist whites who have this black man in a position where he has to sell drugs a white woman spitting on him is only continuing the oppression.
Where did the author of the article single out anybody by race?
Then it applies to black people as well, right? You're telling black people what they cannot say, right?
It's not the formal policy, it's how these leaders choose to handle the offenders. Selling or possession is still a crime. I don't see how this is a better drug policy to let their rich pampered hineys off with a slap on the wrist.
I'm sick of reading this old argument but wasn't the white guy a drug dealer also? Why is there no focus on what the dealers were doing?
No, I'm telling white people what they should say.
