Inside The $125 Million Donald Trump Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Read this in the context of Trump bloviating about Bill Clinton's alleged sexual misconduct.

"There has been much talk of late about Donald Trump and the law. In addition to his regular threats to sue Ted Cruz, LawNewz.com discovered Trump has been named as a plaintiff and defendant in at least 169 different federal lawsuits. Some of the cases have been resolved, a few dismissed as frivolous, others privately settled. In the context of that research, we found one that was particularly interesting, even scandalous. So we did some further digging and obtained an exclusive copy of the $125 million lawsuit filed in 1997, which had been buried deep in a federal archive warehouse in Kansas City, Missouri. The case has almost never been reported on, and the shocking allegations just seemed to suddenly vanish in an era before the widespread availability of the internet.

The lawsuit was filed by Jill Harth who then went by Jill Harth Houraney on April 25, 1997. Harth, who was in her early 30’s at the time, alleged that Trump engaged in hostile and offensive sexual behavior towards her from 1992 to 1997 including “groping” her under her dress on several occasions, “forcibly” moving her to his daughter’s bedroom in an attempt to have sex with her, and repeatedly, aggressively and inappropriately propositioning her for sex. She called it “sexually abusive” and LawNewz.com spoke to her in an exclusive interview.

The 12-page complaint is filled with sordid allegations against Trump, often very specific, and including dates and times. At other points in the filing, she presents second hand accounts of even more boorish behavior that she attributes to Trump.
Harth says she met Trump in her capacity as a pageant producer organizing international model search events in the early 1990’s. This was around the same time that Trump was active in the beauty pageant world. Harth’s lawsuit came as her former husband George Houraney was involved in a breach-of-contract dispute with Trump over a beauty contest at one of Trump’s properties in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In the lawsuit, Harth alleged that on January 24th 1993 while at Trump’s estate in Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida the following happened:

After Trump business associates left, the defendant (Trump) over the plaintiff’s objections forcibly prevented plaintiff from leaving and forcibly removed plaintiff to a bedroom, whereupon defendant (Trump) subjected plaintiff to defendant’s unwanted sexual advances, which included touching of plaintiff’s private parts in an act constituting attempted “rape”

Harth also claimed in the lawsuit that in 1993 Trump made numerous phone calls to her home in Boca Raton, Florida from New York demanding that she “sleep with him.” In the court filing, she also claimed that on January 9, 1993: “Trump forcefully removed (Harth) from public areas of Mar-A-Lago in Florida and forced (her) into a bedroom belonging to defendant’s daughter Ivanka, wherein (Trump) forcibly kissed, fondled, and restrained (her) from leaving, against (her) will and despite her protests.” In the court document, she said that Trump bragged that he”would be the best lover you ever have.”

"Donald Trump appears to have locked up the crucial "person who once accused him of attempted rape" vote. In an interview with LawNewz, Jill Harth, who once sued the GOP presidential candidate, now says that she'd vote for him.

Characterizing her willingness to vote for Trump as an instance of "supporting a friend," Harth added, "I saw him recently, and he said I looked good. I have nothing but good things to say about Donald."

The point is that there are strong parallels with the Juanita Broaddrick allegations against Clinton and cons believed her absolutely. Trump and some of the others want to hold the Broaddrick allegations against Hillary, who wasn't even the perp, so why shouldn't Harth's allegations be held against Trump?

In court filings last Friday, lawyers for both sides in a long-running civil lawsuit over the now defunct Trump University named Trump on their witness lists. That makes it all but certain that the reality-show star and international businessman will be forced to be grilled under oath over allegations in the lawsuit that he engaged in deceptive trade practices and scammed thousands of students who enrolled in his “university” courses in response to promises he would make them rich in the real estate market.

Although the case has been winding its way through the courts for the past five years — and Trump has denied all wrongdoing — the final pretrial conference is now slated for May 6, according to the latest pleadings in the case. No trial date has been set, but the judge has indicated his interest in moving the case forward, the pleadings show.

Eileen Wellstone, 19-year-old English woman who said Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near the Oxford

Carolyn Moffet, a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979, said she met then-governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and shortly thereafter received an invitation to meet the governor in his hotel room. "I was escorted there by a state trooper. When I went in, he was sitting on a couch, wearing only an undershirt. He pointed at his penis and told me to suck it. I told him I didn't even do that for my boyfriend and he got mad, grabbed my head and shoved it into his lap. I pulled away from him and ran out of the room."

Elizabeth Ward, the Miss Arkansas who won the Miss America crown in 1982, told friends she was forced by Clinton to have sex with him shortly after she won her state crown

Paula Corbin, an Arkansas state worker, filed a sexual harassment case against Clinton after an encounter in a Little Rock hotel room where the then-governor exposed himself and demanded oral sex. Clinton settled the case with Jones recently with an $850,000 cash payment.

Sandra Allen James, a former Washington, DC, political fundraiser says Presidential candidate-to-be Clinton invited her to his hotel room during a political trip to the nation's capital in 1991, pinned her against the wall and stuck his hand up her dress. She says she screamed loud enough for the Arkansas State Trooper stationed outside the hotel suite to bang on the door and ask if everything was all right, at which point Clinton released her and she fled the room.

Christy Zercher, a flight attendant on Clinton's leased campaign plane in 1992, says Presidential candidate Clinton exposed himself to her, grabbed her breasts and made explicit remarks about oral sex. A video shot on board the plane by ABC News shows an obviously inebriated Clinton with his hand between another young flight attendant's legs. Zercher said later in an interview that White House attorney Bruce Lindsey tried to pressure her into not going public about the assault.

Kathleen Willey, a White House volunteer, reported that Clinton grabbed her, fondled her breast and pressed her hand against his genitals during an Oval Office meeting in November, 1993. Willey, who told her story in a 60 Minutes interview, became a target of a White House-directed smear campaign after she went public.

And our dear lovable Bill is still a hero of the Democrats.....something akin to Sen. KKK Byrd......

This is not about quantity, it's about the claims of the accusers. You bolded this comment from Harth: "I have nothing but good things to say about Donald." Clinton's women didn't come out with their accusations at the time either. Now I believe most of the women in the Clinton claims with the exception of the consensual hook ups. Just like I believe Harth when she said Trump harassed her.
A sample of the Clinton accusers:

Juanita Broaddrick: Three weeks after the alleged assault, Broaddrick participated in a small Clinton fundraiser at the home of a local dentist.

Elizabeth Ward: Former Miss America Elizabeth Ward Gracen says it was wrong to have had a one-night stand with Bill Clinton.

Paula Corbin: She claimed she kept quiet about the [1991] incident until 1994...

Kathleen Willey: Willey had speculated with Tripp as to how she might be able to set up an assignation between herself and the president. She routinely attended events at which Clinton would be present, wearing a black dress she believed he liked.

Christy Zercher: Zercher, 34, said the groping went on for about 40 minutes before another flight attendant, Debra Schiff, told Clinton, ``I really think you'd be more comfortable in your chair,'' and he left.
