Inside The $125 Million Donald Trump Sexual Assault Lawsuit

And he has another opportunity coming up!
In court filings last Friday, lawyers for both sides in a long-running civil lawsuit over the now defunct Trump University named Trump on their witness lists. That makes it all but certain that the reality-show star and international businessman will be forced to be grilled under oath over allegations in the lawsuit that he engaged in deceptive trade practices and scammed thousands of students who enrolled in his “university” courses in response to promises he would make them rich in the real estate market.

Although the case has been winding its way through the courts for the past five years — and Trump has denied all wrongdoing — the final pretrial conference is now slated for May 6, according to the latest pleadings in the case. No trial date has been set, but the judge has indicated his interest in moving the case forward, the pleadings show.

How entertaining thats gonna be.....

Trump University was really like Harvard's Strategic Management Certificate Program or like the programs Corporations set up for
employees to sit in on lectures and are awarded a piece of paper saying they attended the program....and thats all it means.

The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative (formerly Trump University) was an online education company owned and founded by Donald Trump. They offered courses in real estate, asset management, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation, charging fees ranging from US$1,500 to US$35,000. New York State Department of Education took the view that it was "misleading and even illegal" for the institution to call itself a university. Acctually, there are some unaccredited "universities' operating in the US

This is a civil suit against the institution alleging illegal business practices and claiming numerous "false promises" made by The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative and its representatives. Its gonna be interesting how it pans out.....

Trump has already made certain admissions..... In his infomercial he said: “And honestly, if you don’t learn from them, if you don’t learn from me, if you don’t learn from the people that we’re going to be putting forward, and these are all people handpicked by me, then you’re just not going to make it in terms of world-class success.” He testified in a 2012 deposition that, contrary to the Trump University sales materials and statements he made in the infomercial to the media, he neither selected the instructors nor oversaw the curriculum.

Yep, its gonna be interesting......:palm:

What is there to say? She dropped her suit after only a month and now would vote for him. Trying to compare this to Clinton is hilarious.

She dropped the lawsuit but never denied that he harassed her. And she dropped it (voluntarily dismissed without prejudice) because *coincidentally* Trump agreed to settle a breach of contract lawsuit with her husband.

This is a pretty strange way of saying she wasn't really harassed. "So were the sexual harassment allegations true? Harth says: “The allegations were twisted and embellished. Everything could be looked at in different way.”

Read this in the context of Trump bloviating about Bill Clinton's alleged sexual misconduct.

"There has been much talk of late about Donald Trump and the law. In addition to his regular threats to sue Ted Cruz, LawNewz.com discovered Trump has been named as a plaintiff and defendant in at least 169 different federal lawsuits. Some of the cases have been resolved, a few dismissed as frivolous, others privately settled. In the context of that research, we found one that was particularly interesting, even scandalous. So we did some further digging and obtained an exclusive copy of the $125 million lawsuit filed in 1997, which had been buried deep in a federal archive warehouse in Kansas City, Missouri. The case has almost never been reported on, and the shocking allegations just seemed to suddenly vanish in an era before the widespread availability of the internet.

The lawsuit was filed by Jill Harth who then went by Jill Harth Houraney on April 25, 1997. Harth, who was in her early 30’s at the time, alleged that Trump engaged in hostile and offensive sexual behavior towards her from 1992 to 1997 including “groping” her under her dress on several occasions, “forcibly” moving her to his daughter’s bedroom in an attempt to have sex with her, and repeatedly, aggressively and inappropriately propositioning her for sex. She called it “sexually abusive” and LawNewz.com spoke to her in an exclusive interview.

The 12-page complaint is filled with sordid allegations against Trump, often very specific, and including dates and times. At other points in the filing, she presents second hand accounts of even more boorish behavior that she attributes to Trump.
Harth says she met Trump in her capacity as a pageant producer organizing international model search events in the early 1990’s. This was around the same time that Trump was active in the beauty pageant world. Harth’s lawsuit came as her former husband George Houraney was involved in a breach-of-contract dispute with Trump over a beauty contest at one of Trump’s properties in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In the lawsuit, Harth alleged that on January 24th 1993 while at Trump’s estate in Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida the following happened:

After Trump business associates left, the defendant (Trump) over the plaintiff’s objections forcibly prevented plaintiff from leaving and forcibly removed plaintiff to a bedroom, whereupon defendant (Trump) subjected plaintiff to defendant’s unwanted sexual advances, which included touching of plaintiff’s private parts in an act constituting attempted “rape”

Harth also claimed in the lawsuit that in 1993 Trump made numerous phone calls to her home in Boca Raton, Florida from New York demanding that she “sleep with him.” In the court filing, she also claimed that on January 9, 1993: “Trump forcefully removed (Harth) from public areas of Mar-A-Lago in Florida and forced (her) into a bedroom belonging to defendant’s daughter Ivanka, wherein (Trump) forcibly kissed, fondled, and restrained (her) from leaving, against (her) will and despite her protests.” In the court document, she said that Trump bragged that he”would be the best lover you ever have.”

OOPS

“I have nothing but good things to say about Donald,” woman who once sued Trump says

Donald Trump appears to have locked up the crucial “person who once accused him of attempted rape” vote.

In an interview with LawNewz, Jill Harth, who once sued the GOP presidential candidate, now says that she’d vote for him.

Characterizing her willingness to vote for Trump as an instance of “supporting a friend,” Harth added, “I saw him recently, and he said I looked good. I have nothing but good things to say about Donald.”

According to LawNewz, such was not the case in 1997, when Harth — who at the time went by the name Jill Harth Houraney — filed a $125 million lawsuit against Trump. Harth says she met Trump in the early 1990s while working as a pageant producer.
Among the allegations in Harth’s suit: That in 1993, at Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida, estate, the real-estate mogul “forcibly removed plaintiff to a bedroom, whereupon defendant subjected plaintiff to defendant’s unwanted sexual advances, which included touching of plaintiff’s private pars in an act constituting attempted ‘rape.'”

Trump denied the allegations in the lawsuit, which was withdrawn less than a month after its filing. Around that same time, Harth’s husband, George Houraney, was suing Trump for breach of contract, and Trump dismissed Harth’s lawsuit as “a desperate attempt to get me to settle a case they can’t win.”

In her interview with LawNews, Harth said that she was “pressured” to file the lawsuit and did so “under duress,” adding, “The allegations were twisted and embellished. Everything could be looked at in a different way.”

This is great.
Christie says that the right is grilled under oath; but she believes that liberals give testimony.

She's just showing her hypocrisy.

She admits to twisting and embellishing her claims and you still want to believe her.

:rofl2:

If nothing happened she wouldn't have said the allegations were twisted and embellished, she would have said they were false. Saying "everything could be looked at in a different way" tells me there was something to look at to start with.

LMFAO. Twisted and embellished means the claims she made were false. IOW, maybe something happened but it was consensual and she twisted and embellished to make it nonconsensual. How the hell can you claim that twisting and embellishing is not lying?

What are you reading into my comments? I'm saying flat-out that something happened between the two, just as I said something happened between Clinton and several women. Did you even see post 18, "Now I believe most of the women in the Clinton claims with the exception of the consensual hook ups. Just like I believe Harth when she said Trump harassed her."

If cons think it's fair to examine Clinton's affairs 30 years later and hold them against Hillary, then the same goes for Trump's affairs.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Christie is like Dorothy when she returned to OZ; because she really does want to ignore what's behind Hillary's curtain.

First off, there were multiple Clinton affairs and accusations of sexual harassment. As far as I know, this is the only case against trump and she admitted to lying and now will vote for him. Second off, Clinton lied under oath, perjured himself and was disbarred.

Please explain how you think Clinton and Trump are similar.
