then I would love to see how you would actually handle yourself after your local or state government condemned your property so they would only have to pay you 'fair market value', then for you to lose everything by fighting it in court, only to have the courts deny you any redress, eventually losing all that you have and you're left with nothing. would you be that magnanimous to simply accept defeat in the face of the government?

whose property is it? do you honestly believe that the federal government can constitutionally put limits of property ownership on a state before granting statehood? because that's how the feds obtained 85% of nevada...holding statehood over the heads of nevadans.

are they even worth the trouble or the tax payers money to prosecute them? That would just make martyrs out of them. Let them trudge back home, with a sour taste in their mouth, ignored and forgotten like they ought to be.

Happens regularly. If you're going to buy property you had better do your homework in regards to mineral and subsoil rights and consider that when you make your purchase. I wouldn't buy land in which I didn't own the subsoil rights.

I can hike and camp and bird watch, in some areas I can ski. It is property to be enjoyed by all, not just a few! I am glad there are state and national parks.
 
Article 4, section 3, Claus 2 gives the federal government the right to purchase and own land.

The Dupreme court has upheld this clause on several occasions.
