Well, when you're right you're right. But I would like to be there when you tell the army ranger with 3 combat tours, a bronze star and a couple of purple hearts under his belt that he is a "taker". Or any other combat veteran for that matter.

As for United Healthcare....gee, an insurance company is pissed because they have to mind their manners and actually follow through on their policies, so since they can't keep making "projected" profits as they like (as if they're going broke), their going to take their toys and go home.

Fuck 'em...they're are a slew of others waiting to take their place.
 
The many benefits and goodies afforded military members and their families are indeed considered "taking" by many in the rightwing under different circumstances and even under military circumstances. I've been involved all my life in seeing to it that military members and families are treated fairly. It's amazing when you find out just who is constantly AGAINST anything good for the humans in the military and who does all the real WORK to get them what they deserve.

Oh I've seen Lots of examples of what you are talking about even when I was on active duty. Some libtard puke will propose a great pay and benefits package for the military(all you need to do is sign off on free college educations for all the oppressed_______fill in the blanks)and when the GOP says they can't in good conscience support such a proposal, you liberals get to point at the GOP and say "look, they hate the military ". Just like obamacare. It was meant to fail so you guys could say that singlepayer is the only solution to your manufactured healthcare "crisis "

Of course, you conveniently forget (or deny) the FACT that it was the GOP who lead the charge UNDER THE SHRUB to cut back on VET benefits as the dead and maimed tally climbed via the bogus invasion of Iraq, right?
