There are many heros and brave men and women in our armed forces, but I've done nothing to deserve either label....

Who told me I have the right to bear arms? Who told me I have the right to free speech?

Someone decided these things and others should be rights or privileges, and that someone wasn't a deity.

The ass pain you are feeling is something that happened in Europe awhile back - people stop giving a shit about "nationalism", Lee Greenwood (or his German equivalent ?), social conservatism that excludes people on things that have nothing to do with "output" and they stop believing the idea that somehow a God made your country special (which, if he could, why did he chose your country and not the Beef Bourguigon I prepared last night?). Eventually, you will stop feeling the pain as acutely - and enjoy falafel that much more. That is kind of the reason that Europeans are (scientifically proven to be) much happier than people in Mississippi - they stop looking for ethnic bogeymen and enjoy the sunshine and wine a bit more. Maybe it took WWII, but hey, it happened........

Now if you want to discuss capitalism and economic class distinctions (and how America is further dividing into a country of have and have-nots), that is a very different subject - but don't confuse it with your indignation of a person's skin color or religion.

Obsession with race and skin color is liberal trait and I'm no liberal.

I can't tell if you keep up with current events or not, but Europe is having second thoughts about allowing mass numbers of non-Europeans in because they often don't assimilate. Just recently Canada [that bastion of xenophobia] declared a moratorium on admitting Syrian refugees/immigrants/terrorists.
