so you and LT were screaming 'baby killers' to the returning troops?
Are you nuts?

Which doesn't change that everybody who joins swears that and largely for that reason. Do you think that because we didn't need to go to war the veterans who join to protect the US should be less respected?
do you think that the lower ranking troops should have disobeyed orders to go then?
So, we know you wouldn't volunteer to stand for the Constitution and the US...
Nor am I "fearful". Although, if it wouldn't hurt my family financially, I would volunteer to fight ISIS or any regime or group that would line up any ethnic or religious group and kill them wholesale.
Tell me about your service helping those in need from ISIS. Have you volunteered your house for refugees?
I know a few families that have volunteered to take in some from Glenn Beck's effort to save Christians in danger of genocide... Tell me about your work helping Syrians. It would be nice to hear somebody so willing to do something rather than just say something about their supposed political "enemies".
whereas you, Leon, would surely follow every order ever given......right? is that because you're incapable of thinking for yourself? don't know whats right and wrong?
Anybody who joins the military should know from the beginning that they're required to follow orders. I can't imagine why you enlisted, knowing that.

My family friend join Army, and family ask what if he ordered to do something illegal. And he say, like what. And they ask, like murder innocent children. And he say Army cannot order him to that. And they say, but what if. And he say he no have to obey that order.
So, is he required to obey order to kill innocent children?
Honestly, I don't know. I've read that soldiers were ordered to kill innocents in war zones but don't know what happened if they didn't obey.
That wasn't the point. You associated the Iraq conflict with protecting the nation and the constitution and that wasn't the reason for it. Did you think we had a legitimate reason to be there?
Your "freedoms" haven't been in danger for centuries.
I pointed out that I put myself out for all of us, that all the people in the Armed Forces do. The First Iraqi Conflict saved Kuwait, you may remember it.
The battles we fought while I was in did not matter to the reason I chose to stand for this nation. Unless I was psychic I could not have known what battles the CIC and Congress may choose for us to fight.
And our freedoms are always in danger, usually from people in the US who do not appreciate them.
Well, I can film them for you if you are desperate. But it is very likely you can find youtube videos so it is useless really.
My friend lives across from one of the larger groups.
Regardless of that, do you think they shouldn't be allowed to have them? It is legal for them to buy them, in fact the government itself often will sell them.
You seem so sensible most of the time, too sensible to fall for the bit about our freedoms always being in danger.
WADR I think of these militias as grown men playing glorified paintball games.
I am a libertarian Constitutional Conservative and have always been since you have known me. It is fundamental and central to almost every political opinion I hold. It seems absurd to me that you haven't understood that.
You can be all that and still not hold the opinion that your freedoms are always in danger.
However you think of people who think we need to jealously protect our rights and freedoms matters little to what I believe.
I'm not asking you to think my opinion is important. I'm trying to understand from you and others why you think our freedoms are in danger. It's not obvious, as I think it would be if there were real danger.
