Wondering why they are so sensitive when it's an easy bet they call each other nigga in the locker room quite frequently.
Personally, I think they should have shut down the football season, revoked their scholarships, made them repay the fronted tuition and dismissed those players.

these policies don't stop the kind of harassment you are talking about. every college has some bullshit speech code thing and no one pays attention to it. If called out on it it's he said she said unless you are like really dumb and let yourself be recorded.
because you don't think about the consequences of your actions. You just think 'homophobia = bad' and your train of thought stops there. You don't understand that a lot of the kids in university today are cultural marxists who want to shut down all discussion and debate. They want to push their own propaganda and the silencing of the press is part of that.
I guess I don't understand their position of this, if the media is as liberal as some claim, why would they not want their positions aired? Why would they shut out a liberal press? Now I can see them not wanting their pictures taken because dad might see them and not send the check, but any other reason doesn't make sense.

You are finally correct for a change.
Apparently that is the problem, if there are codes of conduct, then they need to be enforced and this might actually stop the behavior or curtail it to some extent.

Are they supposed to put all the White students under a suspension; seeing as how it just HAS to be a White student who is committing these acts.

I think the media is liberal on some issues, but ultimately the media is going to go for ratings. I view the media largely as amoral.
I think it's also illegal to limit speech at public universities. 1st amendment literally applies in those cases. Private universities can do what they want though.

So some student claims that someone yells the N word at him. There is no corroboration. There is no proof. We just have to take his word for it. And from that, a university President has to step down?
They don't even know who yelled out the so called offending epithet. But, the President is supposed to step down?

You know instead of berating poor, dear Rana, you should be congratulating her on seeing the light about "waiting for all of the facts come out". This is a stark departure for Rana and how she approached Trayvon Martin where as soon as the news hit the wire, she was calling for the death penalty for the white hispanic.

That followed a September incident in which the student government's president, who is black, said people in a passing pickup truck shouted epithets at him.
Early last month, members of a black student organization said slurs were hurled at them by an apparently drunken white student.
A swastika drawn in feces was found recently in a dormitory bathroom.
