son obviously gitmo should never have been within the courts, our legal system, our constitution exist for the governance of american citizens not foreigners taken on the field of battle....the nsa surveillance as it has been portrayed is a gross and obvious violation of the forth amendment....really is not that difficult if you think about it son....give thinking a try son, who knows you might actually like it.....

maybe you should try thinking, because the constitution was not written for the governance of american citizens. It was written for constraining the federal government. this is why people think conservatives are also retarded.

now you are playing a game of semantics....of course the constitution is that body of law that governs govt, by defining govt it limits govt....the bill of rights further limiting govt by expressing some but not all of those liberties fundamental to remaining a free society of limited federal govt/intrusion and further stating that if the authority govt is seeking to exercise does not exist within the constitution than it is not theirs to exercise....and yes son, the constitution is that document that provides the script for the federal govt in exercising their legitimate authorities....

with that in mind then, since the constitution RESTRAINS the government instead of people, it should be self explanatory to those with intelligence that it doesn't allow unrestrained power over non citizens like on gitmo.

does that say 'the citizens', or 'the americans', or even 'the people of the united states'?????? no, it simply says 'the people', meaning that the government has zero power or authority over the arms of the people.
