rummy....

sadly no one has even attempted to defend or support the performance of the pretender and chief, just attack rummy for drawing attention to it....suppose he called obama out for being a tool, no wait a tool actually has some demonstrated useful purpose......yes i am just an evil racist who hates the first affirmative action president for his color, not trillions added in debt, not a cynically fractured society of black vs white, rich vs poor, gay vs straight etc..., yes again it's all racism and has nothing to do with the stench of lies and death swirling about benghazi, fast and furious, drone strikes based upon cell phone possession, the nsa up your arse, the epa stealing our lands/liberty, the irs targeting political dissent, the start to finish fraud that is obama care and i could go on but it does not matter does it because me and now some 60%+ of this nation are all racists.....

Given the tone of your posts "new person", I feel certain you're not really interested in any defense or support of the prez.

Don't let history influence your political bias.....Robert McNamara. Secretary of Defense under Kennedy and Johnson, the architect of the disaster known as the Vietnam War. He masterminded such terrible ideas as taking South Vietnamese peasants off their land, using Agent Orange and other defoliants, and the massive aerial bombing of both North and South Vietnam. The Vietnam War was a far more damaging and awful conflict than Iraq. More Vietnamese died and more Americans died.
And we lost.

At least McNamara had the grace to apologize for his mistakes. I don't ever see that happening with the arrogant rummy.

"We were wrong, terribly wrong. We owe it to future generations to explain why." — McNamara, writing in his 1995 memoir, In Retrospect, on the management of the Vietnam War.

Fuck McNamara and his apologies. I hope he's burning in hell forever. I lost friends cause of that cocksucker.

this has nothing to do with tone, this is just a simple matter of seeing and then calling it what it is....this president has been a corrupt fraud from well before entering office....as president he has just added incompetence to his lack of character....rummy was only stating the obvious, that being this administrations total failure in delivering a coherent foreign policy......but yes please, worry about my tone and ignore that flushing sound that is this nation going down tube.....

Lol, worry? Your opinion and a few bucks will get you a latte at Starbucks, new person. When you're ready to post actual debatable facts, there are enough people here who are willing to have a discussion. Just a heads-up, your crap about monkeys, corruption blah blah blah isn't going to get you any more respect than you give Obama. I'm sure comments like that are applauded on conservative forums, though.

Oh, and when people say they're "calling it what it is", that's a tip-off to arrogance. We all think we do that and we're mostly all wrong.

you admit that it is not debatable....this president is an abject failure, his foreign policy literally in flames and that is of course why all the outrage with "trained ape" and no debate regarding the substance of rummy's remarks....no my remarks are not applauded, it is a sad truth that is more likely to depress than draw applause.....

LOL You're talking about the same Rummy that committed us to the immoral war in Iraq and utterly dropped the ball in Afghanistan and let Bin Ladin get away? Not that Obama was nearly as hard on bin Ladin as Rummy was.....Oh wait...that's right. Obama had bin Ladin killed. Silly of me to forget that. :p
Too much wrong here to correct...

Reading is fundamental. I've admitted no such thing. No wonder you cons can only sling insults, you can't even understand a simple declarative sentence.

You think he's an "abject failure"? Tell it to the millions of people who elected him twice, with comfortable majorities over those the repubs supported.

Winning an election isn't proof of anything. The Obama's a failure because of the economy, the debt, and the sorry state of world affairs.

I don't know what was in Rummy's mind. It could have been either, but due to public perception it was a poor choice of words.

I think it debases the office of the president to use those words to criticize the occupant of the White House. Rummy is educated enough to have chosen a more substantial way to criticize the foreign policy of the Administration.

LMAO; Rumsfeld can't debase the office any more than the current inept, inexperienced, economically ignorant, arrogant, divisive hyper partisn occupant has.

Rummy is a bitter man whose failures as a leader extend all the way back to Vietnam. He wont honestly evaluate himself so his ego leads him to make these statements to prop up the false idea in his mind that he was an effective leader. He cant accept that he ever made a mistake and was ever anything but flawless. The man blames all of his failures on others.

LMAO

i rather think that we respect the office for what it stands for....the person holding the office is naturally granted a certain respect upon entry and keeps that respect by earning it... how does the president earn/keep respect....maybe by he or she themselves respecting the office, the oath of office and performing their duties in accordance with the constitution....has this president done that by any stretch of the imagination.....has there ever been an individual/administration so brazenly corrupt, pathologically given to lying and clownishly incompetent as this cabal....serious question....

BINGO!!
