I think your memory of GWB's early time in office is basically fucked and after 9/11, not too many months later, he got unparalelled support from all corners. Bush's first major policiy initiative, the 2001 tax cuts, got support from Democrats in both houses. Obama's first major policy initiative, the Stimulus bill, which was passed in the midst of a major economic crisis garnered 3 Republican votes, one of which was from Specter.

^ Wow, I've never seen this. I have seen a lot of articles and comments where both conservative and liberal men bashed Hillary to the max.

My mixed feelings include that she's way more hawkish that I like in a candidate.
 
For all the righties here who claim Hillary has no experience or knowledge to be prez, I guess you'll be writing off the eye doctor as a serious contender.

She was the First Lady, a Senator and Secretary of State. Considering most of our presidents were either governors or senators she's as qualified from that perspective as anyone. Being "qualified" doesn't mean one would be a good president (I mean the in a bigger sense than just Hillary). The focus, IMO, if one doesn't want Hillary to be President should be whether she is 'qualified' or not it should be on her record in office and what she'll do as President.

Although I do think the Republicans will be more upset by President H. Clinton's election than they would be about say... Jerry Brown's election... even though Brown is MUCH more liberal. There just seems to be some special hatred for Secretary Clinton.
