Dems to lose Senate.

So you are admitting the only reason to elect her is she would be the first woman President. Thanks for the honesty, because she has nothing else to run on

BINGO!! It was the same reason they voted for Obama; he was the first....wait for it....acceptable...."Black" President. It certainly wasn't based on his record, experience or history.

Really? see that is what gives you away as a paid hack for the democrats.

Hell, Jarod doesn't need to get paid for this nonsense; he is perfectly willing to be an uninformed partisan hack for free.

Besides, who would pay for this kind of nonsensical stupidity?

Secretary Clinton will get a smaller percentage of women votes than Obama got in black votes, but the excitement factor of being a part of the history of electing the first women President will be huge, it will be one of the best motivators to get out the vote, and we all know that if you can excite your electorate, you are more likely to win... If you can get your people excited about voting, and keep their people bored... you win.

It never is about substance with uninformed clueless Liberals. ;)

President Clinton will be more conservative than President Obama has been. That's clear, she has always been more conservative than him. That is why I supported him over her in the last primary. That is why I would prefer a different nominee, she is very middle of the road.

i don't know about that. I just think she is an opportunist and will do what she can

Couldn't that have happened in '08 though? Women voters far outnumber black voters. I'm not saying it won't happen in '16 but I don't see it as a sure thing that the same effect will occur.

it could have happened in '08 if Barack Obama had had a vagina and not a penis.

the point is: women in America have NEVER had the opportunity to vote for a woman for president. They've had 24 trips to the voting booth and, if Hillary is nominated by the democrats, this will be the FIRST time they could actually vote for one of their own as the candidate of a major political party.

did Democratic women not have that same chance in 2008 primaries? That would have in turn led to everyone having that chance?

Hillary is qualified, far more so than Obama ever was (or is). Not sure how people can say she isn't.

I think more women hate Hillary than do men. Back in 2008, I knew plenty of Democrats who hated her, and were supporting Obama over her. I can't imagine their contempt magically disappeared after hating her for so long. It stands to reason they are looking for the next alternative to her.

This is Scary, I hope something changes before November.
Well it's a long time till November and a lot can happen between now and then and it's more than possible some GOP knuckle dragger can say something stupid to alienate half the population again but even if they do win so what? For one thing Obama will be a lame duck regardless if the Senate is retaken by the GOP. For a second thing the next election has a disproportionate number of at risk democrats up for re-election to the Senate, in 2016 the opposite will be the case and there's a high probability that Dems will take the Senate back again...so I doubt I'll be losing any sleep if it were to occur.

I'm highly skeptical of this one.

I have mixed feelings about Hilliary being nominated. Her centrist politics appeal to me and she has all the requesite experience. However, do we really need the political inbreeding?

On the other hand if she's nominated the comedy from the reaction of the GOP knuckle dragger faction would be priceless.:)
