Well we will find out if it drives people in their store or not.

But personally I don't care one way or the other.

I wonder if they have conducted market research as to whether or not selling cigarettes would influence ones choice of pharmacies. At the end of the day they can't compete on prices as most people have prescription coverage.

I think its a stupid idea, CVS stores here in the Los Angeles area are like a local mini market, you can buy food, milk & dairy products, as well as liquor. If they want to hop on the political correct bandwagon of the Obama regime, they should stop selling liquor.
 
I don't see this as a political statement at all. They are trying to set themselves up in the market as a health care provider. What health care provider also sells cigs?
