why not.....your the one asserting beliefs that are contrary to the teachings of the religion you claim.....I'm merely pointing out what those teachings are......does this perhaps explain why your stint as a pastor in the very liberal UCC lasted only two years?......

you are making some distinction between the first ten of Moses' laws and the rest of them. Jesus made no such distinction. Why do YOU get to? Because early Christians decided to bag a few of them because they had a hankering for pork products?

and these claims that your beliefs are universally held by everyone in the church is bullshit. And I ended my stint because I was specifically called, by my own church, to lead it in an interim period after our settled pastor abruptly resigned.

because the founders saw what a state religion did in Europe. Separation protects both religion and the state...which is why secular Islamic states like turkey do so much better than their theocratic brethren.

True... it is not against the law and thus cannot technically be called murder. But you are deliberately taking the life of a unique human being. That is not in doubt. In mankinds past, many groups have tried to dehumanize other groups in order to justify killing them. Congrats... you are in great company.
 
I do not know why conservatives think that their form of religion/Christianity is supirior, or why it warrants state endorsement. I mean, Carter was a much more Christan man than Reagan, as Reagan seldom went to church and was not all that personally religious.
