Pro lifers show no mercy

nope.....just not changing my answer to one you like better......

That's ok....I gave you one :-)

"How would you feel if strangers or the govt FORCED you to take risks that threaten your life and health?"

So then your answer is: "I support it, they know what's best for me and I'll just have to accept that I might die or have life-long health repercussions."

nobody is trying.....however, we can (and did for a couple hundred years) say she couldn't kill her unborn children just because she didn't......

Gee, I hope you dont want to bring back slavery...that was real popular a couple hundred yrs ago too.

A couple of hundred years ago, the risks of abortion were much much higher. And religion ruled over rational thought.

Alot of things have changed over hundreds of years...except respect for women, it seems.

/sigh.....typical liberal.....if I don't agree with you on one topic I must be a racist as well........why are all our liberals so shallow minded?........

Since liberals think that this is just a lump of flesh; then it stands to reason that they're all for women drinking and doing drugs while pregnant, seeing as now they're not harming a baby and are just exercising their rights.

The people who supported slavery then are the people who support abortion now. Monsters without a conscience or respect for life.

Well done.

You make a good, merciful case for abortion. Certainly if a woman isnt committed to motherhood, why would she care about the fetus? She doesnt have to be...she has "choices."

Still no answer to another question: why is it acceptable, legally and even to most pro-lifers, to 'kill' the fetus in the case of extreme mental anguish of the woman? As in cases of rape and forced incest?

Does that precedent exist in our society for any 'already born individuals?' Can we 'kill' any of them to protect another person from extreme pain and mental anguish? Any examples?

Hint: because the unborn do not have equal rights with those already born. But no one wants to admit it....severely weakens the pro-life position on Constitutional grounds....and regarding law, religious beliefs do not count. Because the religious may practice any forms of birth control or pregnancy that they wish....personally.

I never said she was going to have an abortion; she's just exercising her rights and her behavior isn't affecting anything other then a lump of cells, right?

its acceptable legally because the law allows a woman to kill her unborn child without any reason whatsoever.....for myself?....fuck extreme mental anguish, its not a valid reason.....

ftfy........

So you would insist that a woman carry to term a fetus from rape or forced incest?

(To me that is incredibly cruelty....shows the complete hypocrisy of the pro-lifers when they make that claim of the side for choice)

Hint: because the unborn really do have equal rights with those already born..

Nah....they dont. The law does recognize this by allowing abortion.

What I am pointing out is the hypocrisy of the pro-lifers that agree to abortion when the mother's life is in danger or to protect her from severe mental anguish in cases of rape or incest.

Where THEY clearly recognize that the unborn's rights are not equal. (Many pro lifers, of course. You have stated you would insist the woman suffer. Understood)

Because, as you've shown, there are no such examples of this occurring with individuals already born....we do not sacrifice people to save someone from mental anguish. No laws allowing that that I know of.

I didnt say you did. I said you made a great case supporting abortion.

It does not make a good case that supports abortion; but instead shows the hypocrisy of those, like you, who feel that women have no responsibility for their actions and need to be protected from their stupidity.

DIdnt realize pregnancy was stupid. I'll just leave that as your opinion.

However abortion can be a very responsible choice. Much more irresponsible to have a baby that prevents you from finishing school, developing a career, contributing fully to society, damages a relationship needed to support the rest of a family, that you cant afford....the list is endless.
