She Asked A Simple Question Of McDonalds President And Got Sent To Jail

Board members don't receive the money from the hamburgers. Board members and line workers are paid salaries ostensibly according to the services rendered to the corporation. Board members dont do shit, the people working in the restaurants make everything happen.

There are no jobs for people in businesses that fail.

Board member is often not a 'job.' They are usually people that WORKED their way up, proved their skills, and/or have other positions elsewhere. Sometimes they're semi-retired or retired.

They're a bunch of resting on their asses, do-nothings.

Why do you favor treating people like dogs then?

No one is forcing people to work at McDonalds.

What are her excuses for still making min wage or base pay or whatever that low value constitutes after 10 yrs?

It's completely irresponsible considering she has a family to feed.

I told you already " the notion of being rewarded for loyalty with raises and promotions is mostly mythical".

I groan anarchist & asshole trolls out of principle

Im not an anarchist. I just believe the idea of a corporation as an entity that somehow justifies unending greed and social destruction is an idea that should be abolished, along with corporations themselves as legal entities.

Can you back that up?

It's too bad I have to connect the dots here but someone needs to be making the big business decisions that keep the company competitive and profitable so that there ARE JOBS for other people.

And do board members not deserve that same 'loyalty' after yrs of commitment to the corp?

I believe you already noted that they are mostly retired. My work is done here.

It is a myth, IMO. That's why I said people should EARN raises...not get them for being like furniture.

Why should someone get a raise for just showing up everyday?

Why should someone get a raise for just showing up everyday?

Let me adjust "people being rewarded for good work and loyalty is mostly a mythical notion".

You implied they were getting paid alot to do nothing. They are doing something and the pay may or may not be substantial.

Have you ever sat on a board? I have, several. All kinds, business, political, recreational, hobbyist clubs, etc.

I'm on one now, unpaid. It's a shit load of work, that everyone else (except the other board members) benefits from and they dont do anything but show up.
