I stated throughout everyone of the discussions of this topic that the problem you and dumbass ditzy are having is merely an artifact of the decimal system. 1 can be divided into 3 equal parts. It can be represented as 1/3 or .3 repeating. The notation has nothing at all to do with the inherent nature of dividing a unit into three equal parts we can do it just as easily as we divide a unit into 2 equal parts or 4. You two morons can't get your head around the fact that our standardization on base 10 is arbitrary.

Our arbitrary choice of base 10 does not change the fact that 1 can be divided into 3 equal parts. The product simply cannot be represented in base 10 as anything other than .3 repeating or 1/3.

depends on how many decimals the calculator is set to display......I expect most would say 1......but, on the other hand.....if I type in 1 / 3 I get .33333333333333333.....and if I type in .33333333333333333 * 3 I get .999999999999999..........
