I know that Marx and Lincoln wrote each other. Lincoln was a big fan of Marx.
This is true.

Ahhh, Marx and Engels were big central planners just like you are.
and .... your point? so far you say they support Lincoln and they are central planners. and.... any point in these comments or are they just random?
not getting your point. Spell it out.
I said the two supported Lincoln's war which was driven in great part by the desire to end states rights and centralize the country with a federal centralized government.
Marx and Engels supported Lincoln's war, by the way.
Didn't they liberals?

Didn't they liberals?
OH! now I get the point.
I think. Are you suggesting they influenced Lincoln or just supported him?
Because you know what? A LOT OF PEOPLE SUPPORTED THE WAR. Doesn't mean Lincoln was necessarily influenced by them. Doesn't mean he wasn't. Who knows everyone who influenced Lincoln?
By the way, I disagree with your statement about what you think drove the war. But at least you finally put together a sentence which contains your point.
You mean America's war?
I said the two supported Lincoln's war which was driven in great part by the desire to end states rights and centralize the country with a federal centralized government.
So this was an ambush by a member of "the sisterhood." It wasn't a legitimate question born out of clarification of a point.
Well I should have known better.
