Bill Nye, 'Science Guy,' condemns creationist influence in classrooms

fuck that lame excuse.....you brainless liberals think you can dodge everything you say by claiming its a goalpost move.....you claimed what you fucking claimed because you are dumber than a fucking rock and when you look for an excuse as to why you are dumber than a fucking rock that's the best you can come up with?.......this whole thread shows you were claiming what I pointed at, don't deny it.....

You are an unscrupulous liar and the one dodging. You said "nobody has ever come out and said, 'let's teach kids that the earth is 6000 years old'." You have been proven wrong. Ham and other creationists are attempting to confuse children on evolution. What you are doing is a form of child abuse. That is why this SHOULD be an issue. I don't care if you are hypersensitive and feel hurt that I am calling you stupid. Fuck you. Quit lying to kids and brainwashing them and I will be happy to let you rot in your own stupidity.

yes the right is pretty much reduced to just lying now.

That is what happens when your default position if merely being against what the opposition is for

secular humanists are the ones confusing children about evolution....just look at desh and realize what happens when you have a public school system teaching atheist beliefs as if it were science.......

why?....because it's difficult for you to figure out which of the three is closest?.....are you torn between yesterday and 126k years?.......

Because none of the answers fit very well with the science. Again, that is not true of the Gallup poll. There were two answers that fit with available science and one that required a wholesale rejection of science. 46% agreed with you, Ham and the young earth creationists that science is less important than their faith and Biblical fairy tales. That's a problem. We don't want kids bathing in aphid excrement and hoping it will provide a miracle cure. It's just not going turn out well.

I thought you didn't want creation taught in schools next to science pmp?

???

The point is that because the Pope or other bishops acknowledge that the young earth creationist stuff about man/earth being <10000 years old is nonsense, does not mean their followers do.

Only if they are followers in their hearts and not just a name on a ledger....

You are the one supplying the 22% figure. My guess, is it is just a name on the ledger and was based on simply asking people to identify their faith. They were not likely tested to prove what was "in their hearts."

That's just it and you have outed your true intentions. NO ONE is teaching atheist beliefs (even if there were any to teach). They are teaching science. Like Ham, you don't like the fact that it is not crafted to fit your Bible and you either want the points that come into conflict with the Bible to be excluded or you want to teach the Bible alongside it. That's the problem.

God created Human beings pretty much in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years.....46% ?

Seeing that question as its presented, I can understand the 46% figure....."pretty much in their present form" is very ambiguous and leaves a lot of wiggle room for interpretation....
The 10,000 years no so much....except that 10,000 years to most people is not quite of withing their scope of understanding.....thats over a hundred lifetimes and could be
seen as an enormous amount of time to many.....maybe not even comprehensible....

Still, its pretty sad....

Sorry, I did not realize how old this article was. I use a filter that includes date that usually works well, but occasionally I get some old article. Oh well.

there is no proof Joe Buttfuck Palminary had no part in forming human through evolution.

Except that I just made that name up and he doesn't exist

Actually, I have it on good authority that you are right - apparently you received a message from the gods who told you Joe Buttfuck Palminary formed humans, faking the evidence of evolution just to fool us. Not sure how you ended up on the wavelength; it was targeted to a very specific demographic group; but you got it, and now the secret is out.

All hail Joe Buttfuck Palminary!!! he is indeed the creator of the human race! proof is in the incredible ridiculousness of the human body! who but a buttfuck could put the sinuses where they only make sense for 4-legged creatures and then make us stand on two feet?

Hail the buttfuck!

OH MY GAWD! HE THINKS SCIENCE IS ATHEIST BELIEFS????

Science is science and, regardless of your belief system, if you ignore it you're an idiot.

LOL You are funny. Bill Nye happens to have a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University (one of his profs was Dr. Carl Sagan) and was a succesfull aircraft engineer with Boeing before becoming an educator. Nye has also served as a Professor at Cornell University. He may be a TV personality but, unlike you, he's actually educated and qualified to speak about science. What's your curriculum vitae?

A question for you....science when does being a scientist or an engineer like Bill Nye make one a lefty? Are you telling me that those on the right don't believe in science?

So a degree in mechanical engineering makes him an expert in climate? Sure, why not?

:)

Global warming is your religion.
