the Catholic church does not claim a young earth position......
dude they are trying to make it so.
are we supposed to pretend for you that they are NOT?
Which is why they would acknowledge it is nonsense as I indciated.
lol....you linked to what one fundamentalist private school somewhere teaches......the CLAIM is that this is what Christians want taught in public schools.......a seriously idiotic claim, by the way and in no way substantiated.....
no....nobody has ever come out and said, "let's teach kids that the earth is 6000 years old".....however, some brainless liberal fucks keep posting articles as if they had......is that because brainless liberal fucks are extremely dishonest or is it simply their ignorance.......you're a brainless liberal fuck......perhaps you can enlighten us on that......
but you imply that the body of Catholics believe said nonsense in contradiction to the teachings of the Church?.......
You are dropping the context again to move the goal post. You said...
I did not. I indicated that many within the 22% of Catholics might still believe in a young earth in contradiction to the teachings of the Church. You can't just assume they don't.
heavens no.....you've already got so much pretending to keep track of I wouldn't feel right increasing your burden.....
tell me something, Baxter.....if you had these three options to choose from, which would be the closest to what you believe true....
1) Human beings evolved in their current form 1 billion years ago....
2) God created human beings in their current form yesterday....
3) God created human beings in their current form 126,000 years ago....
name something in example of your claim
I would refuse to answer.
There is scientific support for two of the avaiable answers in the Gallup poll. b
and where is your evidence that 22% of Catholics believe in a young earth?......
I would refuse to answer.
WTF are you talking about? You are butchering the statements. I never said anything remotely close to that.
22% is the number of Americans that are Catholic, according to Nova. No one is talking about 22% of Catholics. He implied that 100% of Catholics would reject young earth creationism and I pointed out that that is not a safe assumption. Of course, it is not.
aren't YOU the one who just wants to teach one?.....
one what?
