Gas Prices

I am consistent. It has taken 5 years to return to Bush level. Meanwhile, thanks to "quantitative easing ( Bush appointee) Money is worth so much less than it was in 08 that it is a bargain at $4

Consistently wrong. There was only a few months in 2008 that gas was above $3.15. Gas has been above that level since mid 2010.

Note that you ignored the relevant part of my commentary. (as usual, rather picking out s simple yet incorrect fact to stand on.)

Your M.O. is clear.

Reduce demand.....supply goes up.....price goes down.

Get rid of your gas guzzlers, buy economy cars or hybrids.....or, if you have the finances....get a Volt or a Tesla....Ford has one coming out too.
Or do what I did....move close to where you work and ride your bike. Not only will you be healthier you'll save a load of cash. Between my wife and I we drove our little Ford 3500 miles and the van 500 miles. That's about $500 we spent in gas last year. Prior to that we were commuting a total of 25,000 miles a year. That's about a savings of $2,500/year not to mention the cost of the car and time spent driving. I know lots of families with two cars, both SUV's or an SUV and a pickup truck and they spend well over $15,000 a year on transportation cost. Money down the drain in my book.

Especially when you can use that money to buy your wife Michael Kors' handbags! Good thinking Mott!

true.....my commute is three and a half miles, my wife walks to work (two blocks)......I have a Ford F150 and I haven't even bothered to check what kind of mileage I get because we don't sped that much on gas......

My commute is 4.5 miles. If I can hit all green lights I can do it in 15 minutes on my bike.

You continue making comments like that. I addressed your post. What relevant commentary did I miss? You were flat out wrong.

How much was it during Bush's last year in office?
Oh, zero % increase.
Huh, it has taken two Obama terms to come back up to the level it was during Bush's 2nd term.

Hmm, seems like Obama did a good job keeping the price down.

Thanks for pointing out Obama's success and reminding us of Bush's failure.

You are not that bright are you?

But then, you voted for a B-grade movie actor for the most powerful political position in the world, so why expect you to be smart?

So both of your posts on this thread had the same incorrect information. Gasoline prices remained were at Bush 2008 levels in 2010. Which is NOT two Obama terms or five years as you claimed.

Gas prices still have not reached the peak prices under Bush so it kinda depends on what you mena by "Bush levels" doesn't it?

you should have taken the time to look at the site that was linked...
http://gasbuddy.com/gb_retail_price_chart.aspx
prices under Bush did go higher one month than the average price we've had since 2011.....but then he lifted the restrictions on domestic production and the price dropped dramatically......they stayed there too, until Obama decided to put the restrictions back in effect......
