Do you really think someone like RazorX will become non-racist no matter how many examples we point out to him of black people being awesome? No matter how many supreme court justices, presidents, governors, business people, etc are African American? no matter how many young black men rescue abducted young girls? No matter what, RazorX will stay racist (as far as I can tell based on his comments on this board) although he may say "well, they aren't typical" or something like that.

Things that will change society are a) continuing to make racism socially unacceptable and b) continue to mix people up so people can no longer think of black people as "them" but rather as their neighbor, friend, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, cousin, classmate, co-worker, etc.

There are some racists who over the decades realize how wrong they've been. But it has to come from inside them; nothing we say will help.

RazorX is just about the only genuine racist on here, I have in the past conducted polls to get him banned. By the way, he lives in California so maybe he lives near you?

No, I don't feel disappointed in you, you are taking this very personally, it's not about that for me. What you believe is largely irrelevant to me personally. I don't want to say "I couldn't care less" because it's rude, but...

However, when you come on here and lecture myself and others, then I must respond. If I don't, then yet another white guy has silenced a voice that has great right, and need, to be heard.

I have to say that I agree with everything you are saying, Darla has always been the same and a leopard just can't change its spots. She just pulled that shit stat straight out of her arse, which is fitting as verbal diarrhoea is her speciality.

For the record, I criticized the analogy of the OP. I still haven't been convinced - one iota - that it's an appropriate or apt analogy. But, I've been told that I'm not really allowed to comment on it.

As for your melodramatic insinuation that I'm trying to silence anyone, I'd love to hear where I told BAC to shut up, or where I suggested censorship of any kind, or where I demanded that he retract his words (or that the board admin do so). I've found that many who yell about censorship have no idea what the word means; I just didn't think you'd be in that crowd.

I have attempted to silence no one. I have offered up my own opinions on the matter, and that is all.

Well Onceler, if you keep throwing accusations at me, I am going to keep defending myself. I am good at it, so that may make it appear as a soapbox, but I'm only doing the same thing you are - defending my position.

You're now saying the same stuff you did in your first response to me, meaning that we got nowhere, and I'm not going to keep repeating the same argument. Yours don't get better because you repeat them, and mine were great to begin with.
