Sorry, pal, you lose. I asked you hours ago to cite evidence of your claim that the state was PRESSURED to charge GZ and you came up with a big, fat goose egg.
Then you write this tripe that TM has "... a pretty good size criminal record." and that is a bald-faced lie.
"... on Monday, authorities confirmed to the Associated Press that Martin did not have a juvenile offender record."
Followed by more tripe that GZ is "a man with no criminal record" when the truth is he had several brushes with the law and they've been
documented.
"In 2005, Zimmerman was arrested and charged with "resisting officer with violence" and "battery of law enforcement officer." Both these felonies are considered third-degree. Due to his desperate attempts, the charges were reduced to "resisting officer without violence" and then the only remaining charge was also completely waived off when he entered an alcohol education program.
In the same year (2005), Zimmerman's ex-fiance, Veronica Zuazo, filed a civil motion for a restraining order, alleging domestic violence. In retaliation, Zimmerman filed for a retraining order against Zuazo and both these claims were resolved with both restraining orders granted.
The next year, in 2006, Zimmerman was charged with speeding. However, that case was dismissed because the officer who charged him failed to show up at the court."
Then you wrote that TM was "...drug dealing ... violent kid like he is some sort of angel."
TM was suspended from school once after being accused of stealing jewelry; however, no evidence of theft was found after investigation by Miami police.
"At that time, the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) was contacted by Miami-Dade Schools Police Department (MDSPD) to assist in identifying property found in Trayvon Martin’s possession. Our records yielded negative results and MDSPD was advised of such findings."
Then TM was suspended after "he was caught with the empty baggie with traces of marijuana in it, the report said. A "marijuana pipe" was also found on the teen, the report said." Carrying marijuana isn't the same as dealing so unless you can cite proof from a reliable source (i.e. not Rush, Glenn or their ilk), I'll have to call this another bald-faced lie.
Furthermore, you've chosen to ignore that GZ was such a heavy drinker he had to enter an alcohol education program in 2005, yet no drug or alcohol test was performed on him after the killing. And GZ and his then fiancee were granted restraining orders on each other for
domestic violence, another fact you've chosen to ignore while painting TM as a violent thug.
Finally, I never said the case was racial. Your reading comprehension needs work. I said the city of Sanford, FL had racial tensions dating back a decades and that is historical fact. The actual founder of Sanford was a racist with ideas of shipping all American blacks back to Congo.
Less than 10 years ago
"...two private security guards—one the son of a Sanford police officer, the other a volunteer for the department—killed a black teen with a gunshot in his back. Even though they admitted to never identifying themselves, the guards were released without charges. Then, in 2010, Justin Collison, the son of a Sanford PD lieutenant, sucker-punched a homeless black man outside a bar, and officers on the scene released Collison without charges. He eventually surrendered after video of the incident materialized online; the police chief at the time was ultimately forced into retirement." Sanford's sordid racism is linked here:

Here's a newsflash. Racist crimes are Federal crimes. Hate crime laws have been part of American history for over 120 years. Sanford's past and present record of hate crimes made it the focus of the feds more than once. There's a remedy for this, the citizens of Sanford have to give up their prejudices once and for all.
You may be correct that GZ will win this case but IMO it'll be an empty victory. GZ still has to look in the mirror every single day and remember that he took away a human life. He'll be in a hell of his own making but that's all right with me.
