Looks like he is heading toward Bush territory

She said there is left and right. Greens are left, Libertarians are (usually) righties. Often they are embarrassed Republicans. I think I have known three liberal libertarians since I have been posting on message boards. I would say String leans liberal. Gene from the old mixed bag board was a liberal libertarian.
you wouldn't know jack shit about Libertarians because your brain is fixated on condemning anyone not liberal.

Yeah, Professor Baxter is String. That's who I mean. Soc, yeah a little. He does. not as much as String IMO.

Oh, my bad, I had forgotten that was his name.

I believe Soc said he voted for Obama in 2008 and Gary Johnson in 2012.

No. It's true. I decided that voting for a guy who doesn't have a chance of winning a damn thing is the way to go. That way I get to bitch about everyone and anything without worrying about the policies of the person I supported ever actually being implemented.

Go easy on him. In truth, he doesn't actually know the names of the people he votes for. He only knows they have a (D) behind their name.

You should really use "forsooth" instead of "in truth." It has that extra douchebaggy panache that would look good on you.

We used to hear the argument "if you don't vote you can't complain". Does it need to be changed to "if you don't vote for a Democrat or Republican you can't complain?"

I'd give him pretty low marks at this point.

I actually do think Obama went into the Presidency w/ ideals & principles. Like everyone else in DC, he was seduced & sidetracked by huge volumes of corporate cash.

It's embarassing how our government has evolved. It's really all about the money now.

I don't. I see him as the latest in a LONG LONG LONG line of politicians who figured he could win power by taking up the cause of the proles.

there is right and left.

you know it and I know it.

Your right hates Obama no matter what stupid name you call yourselves at the momment

Let's do a little math shall we?

Obama won the last election with 53% of the vote. Let's just start there shall we? His approval is now at 43%.

So for the sake of argument, lets assume that the 47% that didn't vote for Obama did so because they absolutely hate everything about him and are abject racists who want to see him shackled in chains as a slave. That still means he has lost 10% support among those who VOTED FOR HIM.

not sure I can make it any more clear for you sweetie

I voted for Gary Johnson and I explained why before. My chance to "voice my opinion" was in the Republican Primary. I didn't like any of the candidates. Romney had potential but I still wasn't a big fan. I voiced my displeasure by voting for Ron Paul.

I also said before that if I were in a battleground state I would have voted for Romney. I wasn't, I live in California. My way to voice my displeasure with California Republicans and Republicans as a whole was to not vote for Romney.

If someone has a problem with that then fair enough but I am perfectly fine with what I chose to do.

Geez. No need to be defensive about it. Relax.

I know tone can be hard to determine here so I didn't post that because I was upset or felt I needed to defend myself. I did it because it actually allowed me to vent my frustration (once again) with the Republican Party.

Calmer than you are.

No you aren't. I'm very calm and composed right now.
