Obama breaking his old records, what a guy

That doesn't change anything.... I never heard you say that to The Dude or Toppy for their relentless bs about degrees and their wealth before.....cherry pick much ?

The Dude's bullshit has been going on for months if not years....and its just today you decide to notice because of the posts on this thread ?....

Talk about hypocrisy....think about it.
Wow whambulance for he beat down deck boy

If you could be more specific, I'm sure we could give you an answer. Much of what came out of the House last year, had approval of Keystone attached. That, or a repeal of ACA.

Other than that, anything else that came out wasn't even worth wasting any time reading.

lol... my point was that the left loves screaming that the Reps are 'obstructionists' because they refuse to pass what the DEMS want. The same holds true in reverse. The Dem led Senate won't pass what the House Reps want either. It is the inability for the two parties to compromise that causes little to nothing being done to improve the economic conditions.

Just look at the 'priorities' of Congress of late. Immigration and gay rights... both important, but both should take a back seat to the overall economy. Jobs is the number one priority in the country right now. The failure of the two parties to address this problem is why we are mired in anemic growth.

They're not obstructionist for refuisng to pass things, they're obstructionist for refusing to allow the Senate to vote on things. And, no, the same does not hold true in reverse

Actually, the parties have agreed that the economy is of secondary importance to the deficit and the success of the two parties in addressing the deficit is why we are mired in anemic growth.

Whatever you say lil parrot.

Tell us, how many of the jobs bills that the House passed did Reid bring to the Senate for a vote?

Now that is a concise and substantive rebuttal.

Tell me, what is the price of tea in China?

LMAO... poor little parrot... why did you separate the first line from the actual rebuttal? Did the lil parrot get too embarrassed?

So you are just going to pretend that Reid hasn't obstructed Rep bills from coming to a vote? Is that what your masters told you to do? Good lil parrot.

See I wrote "tell us" originally but changed it to "tell me" because even though I was only aping SF it still made me feel like a pretentious puke writing it.

Lol... you are a pretentious puke, so it should not have been any different than the rest of your bullshit.

fyi... this conversation is not solely between you and I... hence, I am asking you to answer so the rest of US can read your response. How many times must this be explained to you lil parrot?

That was a rebuttal? OK. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that you were asking irrelevent questions because you are a curious little guy with an insatiable thirst for knowlege.

Is this your pathetic attempt to divert from the fact that Reid was doing exactly what you proclaimed he wasn't doing? Did you not just tell us that the Dems were not blocking Rep bills? Or is it that you wish to pretend that since the method of obstruction is not the exact same that somehow exonerates your masters?

Can't help but notice you continue to run away from addressing what was actually said.

Yet it does hold true in reverse. Which is why our lil parrot is so confused and has resorted to squawking nonsense.

I didn't proclaim Reid was or was not doing anything. I explained what people generally mean when they say that the Republicans are being "obstructioninst" because you were apparently confused on that point.

And, no, the Democrats are not blocking Republican bills. You see, generally speaking, in order for a bill to pass the Senate a majority of Senators must vote in favor of the bill. A bill that has less than majority support -- like the dumbass bills that the House Republicans pass -- can't be "blocked" or "obstructed" because they don't have majority support in the first instance. (I guess Harry Reid could bring them to the floor to have them voted down if that would make you happy. I'll email him and aks him since your happiness should be the world's first priority.)

By contrast, bills that do have majority support and that would pass on a straight up-or-down voted are routinely blocked from coming up for a vote in the Senate by the Republican minority. That's obstructionism, my friend. Also, too, the method of obstruction employed by the Senate Republicans cannot be duplicated in the House.

well-said, DH. Thanks!
