Obama breaking his old records, what a guy

I haven't read this entire thread, but surely no one is claiming that Obama has placed ANY priority on the plight of Americans hurting from the economy more than he has on maintaining the status quo of the rich and powerful. Surely, no one can make that claim.

No segment of American society has benefited more from Obama's policies and practices than corporations and the rich. I defy anyone to claim different.

At what point will democrats face the truth that they did not elect a progressive, a liberal, a moderate, or even someone who believes in long-held principles of the Democratic Party. You elected a CORPORTIST who doesn't give a fuck about people.

Oh yeah, guess which segment of society has done WORSE under Obama?

Black people.

He doesn't even give a fuck about his own people .. or should I say, half of his own people.
 
BAC the problem with The Obama is that aside from my biggest problem with him that he has no respect for limited government, from your progressive perspective he really has no interest in helping people. His main focus is to create a situation where people are dependent on the federal government either for their jobs or some kind of public assistance, so that they will be forever beholden to the political party that got them there. FDR did this with GovCo make-work jobs in the 1930's along with social security and The Obama is doing it with expansion of existing federal bureaucracies and ObamaCare.

That isn't who Obama is brother.

He is a corporatist .. that's who put him in office .. and if you doubt that you should check OpenSecrets to determine where the money came from. It wasn't from 'small donors.'

He doesn't give a rats ass about the Democratic Party or who or who is not beholden to them. He was recruited and put in office to do exactly what he's done .. protect the status quo.

I don't disagree with who pulls the strings on this puppet. Those "corporatists" as you call them use the Democrat Party to keep their power and to expand it.

They use BOTH parties to the exact same degree.

As long as Americans are stuck in the two-party shit-hole .. nothing changes and the corporate will remains the only will that counts.

I think its also a matter of the ruling class. As long as Americans are subject to the interests of a class-concious business-class, the kind of reforms you advocate are a pipe dream.
