not trying anything. i asked a question you gave me an answer. cool beans, OK guy is a hypocrite.
Everyone thread-banned disagrees with her on most political issues. She seeks to stifle debate, not seek the truth.then your point remains irrelevant. There is no indication that Darla was trying to eliminate dissension, only that she preferred not to discuss this with repugnant assholes. Unfortunately, in this case, she missed one.
IYHO, of course.Like one of the thieves at Golgotha, no doubt.
How is it "ripping them off" when they need it?
Oklahoma got 67 billion dollars in 1999 and they're going to need at least that much again.
Where is the logic to your argument .. AND, most importantly, your argument is not in the best interests of the people of Oklahoma who need all the help from the federal government they can get .. many of whom are already on food stamps.
Your argument is only in the best interests of your ideology .. not the people of Oklahoma.
Not in Oklahoma they don't.
Your argument is all about 'the feds' not about the best interests of Oklahoma.
The first folks to truck in aid were Christian charities. With them OK doesn't need the government.
Darla fucked up by not banning me from this thread like she does all her others, lol. She hates dissension, which is the purpose of free speech.
If the feds weren't taxing everyone so heavily then charities would be able to spend more. The first folks trucking in relief were from outside the state...
Charities are often the first groups in with relief. The way they are structured makes it easier for them to get boots on the ground on short notice. But what the first wave does is not about rebuilding. The first wave is about relief. They provide food, shelter, and some basic facilities that help the people stagger back to their feet.
The long term help is what is needed. Tuscaloosa AL was slammed by tornadoes in April of 2011. Many areas have not had more than rubble removal. It will be years before Tuscaloosa recovers.
Bullshit. The first is the Red Cross. But that's cool...we can save the money and not send any to Oklahoma. They're all teabaggers anyhow.
What fucking drugs are you on? Church charities aren't taxed*. They're 501(c)(4) exempt.
1. The Red Cross has roots as a private Christian charity. You just made my point for me.
2. I find your bigotry and hatred of those who you cannot possibly know amusing.
3. Citizens are taxed, and could donate more to charities if GovCo wasn't ripping them off.
1. No, it isn't. It was founded by Clara Barton, a nurse and also supports blood drives. Dumbfuck.
2. Looking in a mirror?
3. So you admit I'm right and are backtracking again?
1. Where do you thing the cross comes from?
2. No, a window.
3. Not at all. My position has always been that if GovCo wasn't ripping citizens off, they would be giving more to charities. Nearly all charities are tax exempt; that fact is inconsequential.
Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe (R) said on Tuesday that federal aid to tornado-ravaged parts of his home state will be "totally different" than a Hurricane Sandy aid bill he voted against late last year.
Speaking on MSNBC, the lawmaker said that in the case of Hurricane Sandy, "everybody was getting in and exploiting the tragedy that took place." However, he said, "that won't happen in Oklahoma."

The good people of Oklahoma vote this horrible man in every chance they get. They own this. I have rarely been so disgusted by my fellow Americans.
But you just said charities pay taxes! You're either lying or backtracking.
You tell me what the red cross means, mkay?
Thanks again for making my point for me.The American Red Cross is a charitable organization, not a government agency....
This is where DumnYankme got schooled. He said "The Red Cross has roots as a private Christian charity" and then when he sees it was NEVER a private christian charity he makes up some shit about the swiss flag cross being a Christian symbol ergo because the ICRC uses it it MUST also be a Christian organization. Just admit when you talk out of your anus and then get called on it instead of trying to make your original statement above look like something else.1. The Red Cross has roots as a private Christian charity. You just made my point for me.
2. I find your bigotry and hatred of those who you cannot possibly know amusing.
3. Citizens are taxed, and could donate more to charities if GovCo wasn't ripping them off.
Bullshit. The first is the Red Cross. But that's cool...we can save the money and not send any to Oklahoma. They're all teabaggers anyhow.
Fuck you, Howey. Deciding who gets aid and who does not based on political affiliations is abojut as low as it gets.
