He tried to argue for increased background checks and didn't know what a straw purchase was.
He's had several other presentations, in which he didn't have knowledge of; but still tried to make his arguement as factual.

Your intervention proposal, is why I think that we're having some of the problems we now have.
Prior to Korea, the impression was that if you fucked with the US; then retribution would be swift and terrible.
Then came Vietnam and once again it was fought with the idea of trying to reach a stalemate.
