When has this been said by any mainstream politician or Christian leader?
We can't know God's ways. God can read into the hearts and minds of us mortal folk. We don't have that ability... that's why it's folly to judge other people for their sins and why Jesus warned against doing so.
Exactly. I made the same point and proved it with indisputable bible verses. They both used lame reasoning to back up their rejecting God's words, Jesus's words and even Old and New Testament validation.
When they reject this you know they are blinded by ignorance and hatred.
(John 14:6) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Tell that to the 15 million Jews in the world today.
Islam says Judaism and Christianity have a flawed understanding of Gd. Three religions, same Gd, different understanding.
Why is it you allow the Jews and Christians to have different understandings of Gd, but not Muslims?
Because Muslims created a different version of God than the one in The Bible, worshiped by Christians and Jews. They formed a Koran around their God, Allah, and disavowed the God described in The Bible. It's simplistic to say "three religions, same God." This is simply not true. Muslims may very well claim it's the same God of Abraham, but they have rejected the God depicted in The Bible, to worship Allah depicted in the Koran. Allah's attributes diametrically conflict with God of The Bible, which is why Muslims view the Koran as sacred, and not The Bible.
It's more than a different understanding of the same God. It is the belief in a totally different God, Allah. I have no problem with people worshiping a different God, or no God at all... this is a personal choice we should all be free to make on our own accord. I am not here to defend the Christian God or the Jewish God, or even the Jehovah's Witness God, and I am not here to condemn Allah or Muslims. I am merely pointing out that it is intellectually dishonest to claim they are the "same god" when they certainly are not, according to The Bible AND the Koran.
WHAT ABOUT THE JEWS?

Will you PLEASE shut the fuck up?
The Jews, as far as I am aware, DO recognize Jesus as a prophet of God. The difference between Christians and Jews is an interpretational difference regarding Jesus being, literally, the "living Son of God." It does not mean that Jews and Christians worship a different GOD! It simply means that Jews and Christians disagree on Scripture, as does most Judeo-Christian denominations. The Muslims do the same thing, why do you think there are so many Islamic sects? Do they believe in different Allahs?
I know this will do no good because you value your opinions over scholars who study the subject, but maybe others will learn something.

Muslams belive the same as the Jews regarding Jesus, that Jesus was a prophet of God, but not THE prophet of God and not the living son of God.
It doesn't take a scholar to recognize that Muslims claim their god is the God of Abraham. To accept their claim without any further evaluation, requires no intellect at all. I am sure there are an abundance of websites presenting a case for both sides of this argument, but a careful evaluation of what The Bible says about God and what the Koran says about Allah, will pretty much prove to any rational objective person, they can't be the same entity.
Muslims believe a whole lot of things that Christians and Jews don't believe, because their holy scripture is the Koran and not The Bible.
Tell that to the 15 million Jews in the world today.
Great post. "We can't know God's ways."

The Qur'an differs from the Hebrew Bible and New Testament in two fundamental ways. First, it is understood by Muslims to be the direct speech of God, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the medium of the archangel Gabriel over the course of twenty-three years, from 610 to Muhammad’s death in 632. Second, its composition was limited to a comparatively short span of time.

Ive been asking for examples... I am sure what you said here is true... but give me an example? AND that does not mean that its not the same universal God.
