The insanity of blaming Islam

Just another case of lumping everyone into one category. It's easier that way. All people who own "assault rifles" are gun nuts and the only way to be safe is to ban all assault rifles. All terrorist bombings (except for the second worst in American history) are done by Muslims so we should just outlaw islam and forbid anyone of islamic faith from entering our country. Completely ignores all the law abiding Muslims that live in the US in places like Dearborn where hundreds of thousands of Muslims live and lead regular lives. It's easier to blame entire groups. It just also happens to be really lazy.

When has this been said by any mainstream politician or Christian leader?

Completely ignores all the law abiding Muslims? What about completely ignores the Constitution and 1st Amendment? What you are suggesting has been advocated, is so foreign to our Constitution and law, that it's not really even worth the effort I've taken to address it. If you honestly believe this is what you've heard, you need to be checked for mental disorders.

It is English, I am sorry you are too stupid to understand.

The Old Testament God is a god of war and conquest, a stern, authoritarian God. The God of the New Testament is a loving God, Abba.

Was that easier for you, Vanilla?

There aren't two Gods, and it's not likely an omnipotent God changed His ways... so whatever do you mean by this?

Here's what changed between the Old and New Testament... Mankind's UNDERSTANDING of God. Those who believed in the Old Testament version of God were in error, and the New Testament rectifies this error in understanding. God remains the same.

HorseSHIT! Jesus did not say, the father I describe is ONLY the Christian father. HE talked about the Father in the universal sense, he simply said that the only way to get to that Father was via him. THat does not mean that God (the Father) is not the same God the Muslams call Allah.

???.....however, the Muslims do not acknowledge the same things about the God of Abraham......they believe he became their God thereafter and have written a completely different history for him than either the Jews or Christians......thus, today, the YHWH worshiped by Islam, Judaism, and Christianity cannot co-exist......

Allah is "unknowable" according to the Koran.

God is very much "knowable" according to The Bible.

The two links I posted earlier go into much detail on the differences, this was just the most obvious to me.

/scratches head.....aren't you on record as being an atheist?......why should we pay attention to your explanations regarding Christianity.....

Robertson has likened Islam to Nazism. The religious belief itself and not people who misappropriate it for their own needs. There was an Imam in Boston who just a couple days after the end of the manhunt said he would not give the older brother last rites because his actions violated the teachings of the Koran. Ann Coulter on FOX just a couple of days ago said that the older brother's wife should be arrest solely for wearing Hijab. The right, and many of its defacto spokes people want Islam outlawed.

Hmmm... Atheist is a bit of a strong word. I am a Spiritualist, who does believe in a supreme entity which I refer to as "God." I don't subscribe to any organized religious (theistic) belief, so you could say I am an Atheist in that sense. I don't call myself an Atheist or identify as one.

But why are you busting MY chops? We both agree that Allah and God are different, seems like you'd pick a more suitable target.

Robertson hasn't called for us to outlaw Islam and kick all Muslims out of the country. Neither has Ann Coulter or FOX News. In fact, YOU are the only idiot I've seen who has suggested such nonsense.

Islam says Judaism and Christianity have a flawed understanding of Gd. Three religions, same Gd, different understanding.

Why is it you allow the Jews and Christians to have different understandings of Gd, but not Muslims?

oh fuck.....I've heard of moving goalposts but you just cut them down, burned them and scattered the ashes into the wind.......proving that the gods they worship are not the same is hardly not allowing them to have a different understanding......

He didn't say that, retread his statement.

The reason God is knowable is through Jesus, but that does not mean that the unknowable Allah is not the same entity, it's just that Islam does not acknowledge Jesus so to them Allah is unknowable. Also I know of no bible passage that says we are capable of knowing all of Gods ways.

We can't know God's ways. God can read into the hearts and minds of us mortal folk. We don't have that ability... that's why it's folly to judge other people for their sins and why Jesus warned against doing so.

Christians would not defend those that deny the divinity of Christ nor would a Christian defend those(Muslims) that so desperately seek to destroy the Jews and Christianity.
Allah is not God you dipstick. God is not a deity that sanctions their evil and murder. Their Koran gives permission to murder. Get that through your stupid head .
They deny Jesus and they murder in accordance with instructions in the holy book.
Stop being a fool and trying to vindicate evil and evil doers.
Neither you nor Christiefan are true Christians if you promote evil over your own religion.
You pull your pinhead out of your ass.
I gave solid proof to Christiefan about Islam and her answer to it was a lame accusation against me rather than accept it or try to refute it.
You both are quite ignorant about Islam yet you both sought to defend it.. Now that takes real arrogance and stupidity.

I gave you a link to a website written by Muslim scholars and I bet you never looked at it.

Tell that to the 15 million Jews in the world today.
