I've tried and I've tried and I've tried to engage you guys in rational discussion and all I ever get in response is the same shrieking wail of fear claiming we want to take all your guns and if you are going to stonewall and black any kind of meaningful reform then I and others have no choice but to side with those calling for more extreme measures.

At least they are willing to sit down and listen to what we have to say...your stubborn refusal to work for meaningful compromise is what gives voices calling for more extreme measures the power it has.

No, "magnets in ceilings" was merely a guy trying to spitball some ideas off the top of his head and naively hoping those more knowledgeable about guns might be able to offer some advice/critique.

What you have to say is meaningless. You are not qualified to contribute to the discussion. Just like you're not qualified to have a valid opinion on motor design with exotic metals.
