On Friday, the Senate passed the FISA Amendments Act, which will allow the government to continue spying on citizens' emails without a warrant for another five years. In addition, it voted down four amendments that would somewhat temper the act.

And according to a leaked White House memo, that's exactly what President Obama wanted.

here we have partisanship at its finest. it matters not who CONTINUES to support FISA, it only matters who STARTED it.

that kind of thinking sinks countries. further, the tea party was not in existence when FISA was first passed. please, more intelligence USC.

this is the most intellectually dishonest post of 2012. who demanded indefinite detainment of american citizens in the NDAA? who then signed it after he got his demands? who asked for, and received, stronger enforcement of the patriot act extensions? and you want to place this shit solely on republicans??? you are beyond pathetic.

According to the vote results I have seen only 1 republican in the house voted NO re-up Fisa this time.
Ron Paul no doubt.

I think only 23? voted against re-upping it in the Senate.
