Legally isn't the bottom line just like the bankers legally packaged garbage and almost collapsed the economy.

A friend of mine commented I must be irritated by having to pay capital gains tax. I asked why I sohuld be irritated when I never even worked for the money. I was thankful I made what I did after taxes. The reality is I did absolutely nothing to contribute to the size of increase in value.

So who is going to make all the judgements that are required to determine who gives how much and who really worked hard and who didn't?

It's Madison's objection to the "whatever" that I agree with. In the case of ObamaCare one may be entitled to medical care but they are not obliged to obtain it. While it may be in the general interest of the country to get rid of Twinkies due to the sugar content I don't think the government has the right to prohibit their sale. The point being ones rights are not affected. People always have the option to not avail themselves of government services.
 
Picture you having a business and two people work in the office. One is a woman, 5'4", 120 pounds. The other office worker is a guy, 6', 200 pounds. You want to rearrange the office, switch the desks around. Who would you ask to help you move the desks?

The Harvard study. People lacking medical insurance die untimely deaths and there is no reason whatsoever for that to occur when it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt the full spectrum of countries are able to implement a government medical plan.

If you're so smart why didn't you answer my question previously posed? How many hours are in a Gates' day? You implied he worked harder. Harder in what sense? Length of hours? The work accomplished per hour? What was his hourly rate?

If you want to insist he worked harder give me something to go on other than the typical Republican/Conservative philosophical diarrhea we've been subjected to over the past year.

Are those do-nothing verbs? Sit back and watch verbs? Or active verbs? Is it just a flowery statement that means nothing or is it a statement telling the people the Federal Government is there for their benefit, that they want to ensure a decent and prosperous and equitable (just and right; fair) life for the citizens? What makes sense to you?

I'm not asking for anything myself. I' m quite comfortable, thank-you. However, I do advocate the less fortunate be helped and stop the lies and nonsense the country can not afford to do so when affordability has absolutely nothing to do with it. Selfishness and greed. That's all it is.

As I said I do not know the details of his financial situation. Perhaps you can tell us what his hourly rate should be. What do you consider is fair compensation? Is sounds like you know the details.
