Do you have any idea how much at-home work teachers put in? There's lesson preparation, theres research, then there is grading work, then there are the kids who stay after school for help, THEN there is qualification study/testing. There are after school meetings with kid's parents, there are after school faculty meetings on policy and agenda, etc. If you really want to be a good teacher, you are working AT LEAST ten hours a day...
ANd for anyone who thinks teachers make god money for what they do then by all funking means, go out and teach junior high for one year and then let's see what you have to say.
Seriously, there are ver FEW jobs that are more important in our society.
