Yes dear, if we gut the military and have no means of defending ourselves against an attack, the Russians or the Chinese are indeed coming, mark my words. In fact, the only reason the Chinese haven't jumped on us already, is because we owe them trillions of dollars. IF we gut the military, and our economy collapses, we are FUCKED!

They not have to overrun us, they will just buy everything we have, or watch us borrow and spend on our military until we implode like the USSR.

It's not the government committing the fraud. We need more measures to find it and prosecute the fraudsters, not less food stamps.

No no no no, you don't understand, you think their motive would be hate, anger, revenge, whatever... like how you feel about the country. The Chinese aren't the least bit interested in watching us fall as a power or seeing us collapse economically or destroy ourselves with debt. They need LAND! You see, they have a little population problem over there. They need our territory and our resources, and for us to be neutralized so we can't fight back. They are not dramatically increasing the size of their military for nothing. And the Russians would be more than willing to help out by taking Alaska, where they would have no problem whatsoever, drilling in ANWR.

You hippies need to snap out of your drug induced stupor and realize you are about to make a grave mistake. The Communist Chinese and the Russians, do not think like you. Their rationales and way of looking at things are completely different. Where you believe the only reason a country would use it's military is 'hate for brown people' or to show off military might, they have a completely different objective and way of thinking. It's more about what we have that they need. I don't know about you, but I'm not all that hip on becoming a Chinese satellite regime. But you don't believe any of this because you live in a delusional and naive little fantasy world, where everybody thinks like you.

What we need to do is say, okay... we know there is at least 10% fraud happening currently, so we are cutting the budget by 10%... go find the fraud and eliminate it, and you'll have no problem! It will be like nothing was ever cut! All the legitimate needy will still get the exact things they get now, except we won't have the fraudsters pilfering the kitty anymore. Problem solved.

As long as we keep increasing the funding each year, and shaking our heads over the fraud and abuse, it will never be addressed. When it has an effect on a department and there is a real chance people in their nice cushy government job might lose it, THEN they'll get on the ball and find those who are bilking the government. Until you cut the gravy train, they will sit on their asses and do nothing about the fraud, why should they, what is their motivation? We are going to keep doling out more and more money, all they have to do is send you out to whine and moan about the poor and needy!

Yes, you see, it's FAR more important to correct me on common grammatical errors than to actually DISCUSS the problems or find solutions! And whenever you can't find some superfluous thing to distract us with, you can always make up something on the fly, or chortle out some insult, or bring up Bush and Iraq... that's a favorite!

I think what it will take, in order for us to get to where we need to be in terms of dialogue and discourse, is for you people (liberals) to be totally and completely humiliated in an election or two. Maybe when we knock you down to 15~20 senators and less than 100 house members, we can have some kind of rational discussion on the issues that face our nation. Right now, you people (liberals) have gone completely insane, and refuse to listen to reason.
